5.00Amazing boat tour by Arto including the history and behavior of the Saimaa Ringed Seal. We got very lucky and got to see a young (6 month old) seal who was curious about the boat plus saw and heard a fish eagle flying overhead. Ended the ride with a beautiful sunset and moon rise.

5.00We took a great boat trip on Lake Saimaa. Our guide Arto was able to tell a lot and thus made the tour a special experience. We were lucky enough to observe a seal in addition to the eagles. The boat is also worth a trip. We can recommend the tour to anyone.

5.00First massive thanks to the tour guide holding the tour even though we were the only one on that day. Tour guide is very knowledgeable and very eager to provide a superb experience. Chance to spot a seal in July is not so high, but we were lucky to spot one! Even if you don’t see one the tour is still worth to enjoy the romantic evening atmosphere on Lake Saimaa. There was a small coffee break on the boat with home made snacks! Toilet pause was possible on an island at a camping site. All in all this is a 100% recommended tour if you enjoy Lake Saimaa and nature.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Arto onboard the Lady of the Lake! Arto was very knowledgeable and friendly and I was impressed with his language skills (he talked in very good English and French). I liked the boat a lot, it was super silent thanks to it's electric engine and lay stable in the water. I didn't get seasick although I'm quite sensitive and we had a good amount of wind and waves. We saw fish eagles, black throated loons and as a treat in the end a seal circled our boat and peaked out of the water a few times. A fantastic experience! Highly recommend even if the price is quite high, it's worth it!

5.00We had an amazing time with Captain Arto! He was so knowledgeable about the local wildlife including up to date developments in seal research. He was clearly very passionate about the seals as he volunteers in conservation efforts. The tour had everything - pictures, videos, coffee and fresh buns included, Arto sang us a song, and we saw a rare Saimaa seal and many eagles. Arto was a very kind and caring host. A real highlight of our trip to Finland.

5.00We had a wonderful trip with Arto! The time on the boat was very pleasant and the atmosphere fantastic. The views of Lake Saimaa are breathtaking. The guide Arto has told many exciting stories and facts about the Saimaa seal. We were very lucky and were able to observe a seal three times on the tour. We would definitely recommend the tour!

5.00Today we experienced three wonderful hours with our guide Arto, who told us many exciting stories about the dreamlike Saimaa lake landscape. On our boat tour we saw seals and ospreys - all in the best weather. An all-round successful excursion that you can only recommend. 10 out of 10 points!

5.00Wonderful experience. The lake is a true earthly paradise but to make everything even more special was the guide Arto. He told us so many stories about the lake and all of Finland. Available to clarify all our doubts or curiosity, very trained on these places. He was able to provide valuable advice for our trip. Special moment is when we stopped with the boat and were offered tea and coffee, accompanied by his live music. Absolutely recommended!! Don't miss it!

5.00It is absolutely worthwhile: lots of exciting information about the seals and the area. The boat glides completely silently through the lake landscape and the sunset is magical. We were lucky and even in July we saw a seal on a stone and a breath on the surface of the water. Also coffee, tea and fine pastries. What more could you want!
