The tunnels were such a great experience, going through them was something I never thought I’d do but glad I did, the sweating is so worth it. Our tour guide Theo spoke great English and explained every stop with detail which was very informative. He also had a great sense of humour, if you get Theo as your tour guide, you’re lucky.

The tour started on time and our tour guide was Theo. Theo provided lots of information during the drive and even cracked a few jokes to keep everyone entertained. At each stop, he told us something about it, and we had plenty of time to explore. On the way back, we stopped at a restaurant where the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Theo also sent us some videos as additional information. Theo was the best tour guide!

Unfortunately you get what you pay for. This tour was very cheap but that led us to spending 4 hours on a very uncomfortable bus. Very little leg room and the air con though on didn’t make a dent. It was very hot. Theo was very informative on the drive out to Cu Chi and whilst there. Sometimes maybe a little too much chat at certain points. It was very hot and you are standing around out there for a while. In the end I’d pay more for a private tour that you can work to your own schedule. I’d avoid this large group tour to Cu Chi tunnels if I had my time over again.

Out of everything I did in Ho Chi Minh City, this tour stands out the most. The Cu Chi Tunnels are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Crawling through a small section gave me a tiny sense of what life might have been like. Beo was a great guide who balanced historical facts with engaging storytelling.

Tour was very rushed and we did not get to see all of the exhibits. Our tour guide (Bang) spoke limited English and we found it difficult to understand the limited information he gave us.

The tunnel system is fascinating and really shows how resourceful people had to be during the war. Walking through the forest and seeing the hidden entrances was very interesting. Beo was friendly and approachable, and he encouraged questions from the group, which made the experience more interactive.

Honestly a really eye opening tour. Witnessing history first hand with live representations of the circumstances that locals experienced at the time and their way of life. It was great experience, second only to our tour guide Bac’s attention to detail and professionalism. Bac was always attentive of our group and was already familiar with our names right from the get go. It made interactions more personal rather than being just another tourist. 10/10 would go on another tour led by Bac.

My tour guide was Bac and he was actually one of the main highlights of the tour, very educational and such good hospitality. One of the best tour guides that I’ve had in a while. The cu chi tunnels was very surreal giving a great insight of what the Vietnamese soldiers had to endure.
