Our culinary tour is characterized by its uniqueness.

Many of our Melk businesses produce homemade specialties that represent the Wachau region.

Accompanied by a local guide, you will experience an authentic time in the culture and culinary city of Melk. Our tour includes the tasting of Melker and Wachau specialties and spirits from regional production.

What To Expect

The culinary tour takes place in the center of Melk Stadt. The walk together starts at the main square, where our first stop is. We taste sausage and meat specialties in a traditional family business. Afterwards we continue our walk and visit a gin distillery and take a look behind the scenes. Our next stop is a typical Austrian café where we enjoy the homemade ice cream. The walk then takes us to a specialty shop. Whether homemade schnapps or liqueurs - the apricot, which is well known for our region, is in the foreground here. At the last stop on our culinary tour, those with a sweet tooth will be delighted. Our tour comes to a pleasant conclusion with a homemade pastry from our region and coffee that is roasted in-house.
