"(I wanna) be like Mike." It's been many years since that saying on American commercials, but it definitely applies here to our Guide, Mike. A very down-to-earth, honest and hilarious individual with a wealth of information about Curacao, Mike was a great personality to be able to spend a 6 hour tour with, exploring the island. One of the things that I appreciated is that more than once at a stop, I privately asked Mike follow up questions to expand upon something that he brought up on the tour, and he never hesitated to expound. The kind of person that you would want to hang out with at a Happy Hour, Mike clearly had honed in on the timing of the tour to be able to spend enough time at each of the stops, take questions during the tour while on the bus, and to provide context of each neighborhood or site that we experienced. And I greatly appreciated that he let us know exactly when to be back on the bus. I happened to visit Curacao a cruise, that had included Aruba and Bonaire the previous two days and I had driven a lot on those islands. So, for me it was quite a nice "rest" to be able to be on the bus, listen to what Mike was sharing, take notes, be able to see the sites from the window, engage when we were off of the bus, have a taste of a local libation, and relax to the music on the bus on the ride back to the drop off point from Westpunt (North) at the last portion of the tour. As a result, I felt like I was able to get a general overview of the island (with lots of comprehensive information), while also getting a sense of where I would like to have additional exploration on my own. This Tour is great for if you are visiting for an extended number of days to Curacao or if you are on a cruise; you will meet at 8:50 a.m. at a hotel near the port, and return by approximately 3:00 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. You will stop for lunch at the Bistro E Lanternu for about 45 minutes, which was a nice break and opportunity to "break bread" at a table with other tour participants. (The eatery takes only cash, and no credit - either U.S. Dollars or the Caribbean Guilder. Ask Yellow Adventures ahead of time through the TripAdvisor site if other cash currencies are accepted, if need be). Yellow Adventures is a highly professional company with an ease of check-in, comprehensive directions, and sincere hospitality. (And the attention to detail indicates a sensibility that likely involves consistently tweaking its "well-oiled" approach to constantly get better, so you probably could take the tour again on a second trip to Curacao and be just as interested. And you will want to joke, have a great time, and be as knowledgeable as Mike, too. Choose this one.

We took this tour our first day in Curacao and are so glad we did! Mike was an absolutely amazing guide. He's extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. During the 6 hour tour you will learn a lot about what the island has to offer from history to nature to shopping and events. We got just the right amount of time at each stop and when the tour was done, we knew exactly what we wanted to go back and spend more time doing the following days. Mike even spent time after the group departed to give us some great input on the best snorkeling spots to hit and some events that would be going on in town during our stay. Can't recommend this tour enough and a special thank you to Mike!

This is the perfect tour for first time visitors to Curacao. If you're staying for a few days, it should be one of the first things you do because you get a great overview of the island and what it has to offer, along with some historical knowledge.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about Curacao's history. In between jokes Mike told the story of the island's people and how today's culture came to be. We also visited beautiful landmarks on the East and West end of Curacao. This tour is a must for first time visitors. Thank you Mike!

Mike was an excellent tour guide. He provided a nice overview of the history of Curacao and took us to a number of locations we would not have considered on our own. Stopped at a great place for lunch. This tour surpassed my expectations.

No guarantees that the flamingos will be there. Great driver/guude. Informative, polite, professional.

The tour guide was Mike and was very knowledgeable about the history of this beautiful island and spoke how the structure of homes were built and why they have to be painted every few years

Highly recommend this tour. Mile is very knowledgeable and proud about his island and you can see why. Just a beautiful island. We were very comfortable in the air conditioned van and the lunch stop was delicious. We got to see everything that was promised to us in the 6 hour tour.

Mike was nice & very informative. The van/bus was air conditioned & comfortable with only 18 people. We did cover the whole island in just over 6 hours, including a distillery & beach. Honestly, the tour was too long for our taste. Lunch was very disappointing especially for the price. The sandwich was small, tasteless & had very little chicken.
