Taroko National Park

One of Taiwan’s most famous destinations, Taroko National Park is known for its marble canyons, lush forests, and towering peaks. The Liwu River has carved the stunning 18 km Taroko Gorge, where sheer marble cliffs rise above turquoise waters. Our visit includes highlights such as the Taroko Gorge Entrance Arch, Visitor Center, and scenic viewpoints along the gorge. Although some trails remain closed due to the April 2024 earthquake, your experienced guide will take you to the best open spots with breathtaking views and hidden photo opportunities. We dedicate a significant part of the day to exploring Taroko, with short walks, plenty of photo stops, and a relaxed pace. Sightseeing duration may vary with traffic, weather, or park rules, but your guide will adjust the itinerary to ensure the best experience. This full-day tour usually lasts around 8 hours, so starting before 8:30 AM is recommended.

This is an excellent tour! Jimmy was extremely attentive and knowledgeable. He took some excellent photos for us. We learned a lot and were to enjoy some incredible once in a lifetime views. His recommendations for food and snacks were the perfect compliment to an amazing tour. 10/10 would recommend!

While it might be a little more expensive than others, the tour was very personalised. Our guide Vincent was very familiar with the National Park as he used to work there. So we got a lot of first hand information. Vincent was awesome, the day was well planned and delivered, and communication was excellent.

In September 2025, I experienced a one-day hike in the Tai Luk Valley, Taiwan. Blue streams weaving through steep cliffs, marble rock faces covering the sky, lush greenery swaying in the wind. I was captivated by its overwhelming natural beauty. The mountain range, which cuts up to 2,400m from the coast at once, was also spectacular. It was a precious experience to be guided by our guide and to experience the magnificent landscape and history of the land while exploring the possible. The guide was able to speak a little Japanese, so we could have a good conversation in this poor English. Plus, it was very safe to drive and comfortable to move around. At lunchtime, they would check in advance what we wanted to eat and our budget, and I was very happy with their concern. The traditional indigenous food that we actually received was very delicious using local ingredients and it was a valuable experience to feel the culture. It was really helpful to be kind enough to ask for advice on how to buy tickets when we were traveling by train to Taipei after the tour. It was a very safe and fulfilling day, supported by the warm response. It is my sincere hope that this wonderful valley will once again be enjoyed by many after the recovery from the 2024 earthquake. I would love to visit again when the trail in the Tarokaku Valley is restored, and next time I will visit Alishan, Sun Moon Lake, and even Yushan through this tour.
