5.00Javier was a great guide!! We saw so many animals, multiple slots, snakes, lizzards and monkeys! He takes his time to make sure everyone has a chance to see and check on you to make sure you’re having a great time. Would totally recommend otherwise you miss so much!

5.00We booked a waterfall tour with Pacific Jungle Adventures and the guide was so outstanding we hired him to take us through the Park as well. A guide is absolutely required in the National Park. Without one, you will not see very much. Not well, at least. Most of what you want to see is high in the trees and difficult to spot. Javier had a telescope with camera attachment so we were able to see and get excellent pictures of all of the wildlife. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the animals, creatures, and plants. It was a great experience. More than just an expert guide, Javier was just a lot of fun. He didn’t feel like a guide, he felt like a member of our group. My whole family loved him. Can’t recommend highly enough.

5.00I went to the park with my brother, and we were accompanied by the guide Javier Laguna, who gave us a great tour of the park where we were able to see many animals through a telescope, took beautiful photos, and learned quite a bit about them. Great local guide, please locate him!!

5.00Javier is a terrific guide, 6 out of 5 stars! We visited Manuel Antonio the day before by ourselves and were disappointed to not see any sloths; he took care to focus on the sloths and pointed one out within the first 15min, for 5 total during the whole tour (both three-toed and a sleeping two-toed). He also found the best angle and had us wait patiently as a sloth climbed down towards the ground, so our group had a rare close look! Javier is incredible too at taking clear photos and videos through the telescope of the animals' faces, even as the animals move through the treetops. We saw and learned facts about squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys, capuchins, bats, basilisk lizards, frogs, birds, plants, and more. On top of all this, we weren't at the park during the right time of day to see scarlet macaws, but afterwards Javier directed us to a place in town to spot them later in the evening, and even shared his photos from an earlier tour. This was an amazing experience to cap off our Costa Rica trip!

Most impressively, he manages to spot animals that are so well hidden — it’s amazing! He also has a telescope that allowed us to observe different animals up close and take beautiful photos. 5.00We enjoyed a unique walk through Manuel Antonio Park with our guide Javier (licensed). He knows how to find the right places to spot a wide variety of animals and he takes his time. He passes on all his knowledge and it is pleasant to listen to him. His price is very correct and cheaper than our hotel offered it. He has professional equipment and takes very nice pictures. Highly recommended!
