Old Church of Saint Nicholas

At the peaceful reservoir of Alassa, travelers will visit the partially submerged Old Church of Saint Nicholas — one of Cyprus’s most unique and photogenic hidden landmarks. Depending on the water level, parts of the church may be visible above the lake, creating a mysterious and striking setting. Your guide will share stories about the village’s past and the church’s unusual fate. This is a favorite stop for taking creative photos, with reflection shots and wide-angle views of the surrounding hills.

Travelers will explore the picturesque village of Omodos, one of the most charming and historic wine villages in the Troodos Mountains. Stroll through cobbled lanes lined with traditional stone houses, boutique shops, and local artisan stalls. Visit the impressive Holy Cross Monastery at the heart of the village and learn about its religious and cultural significance. Guests will also have free time to browse handcrafted lace, sample local products, or enjoy a coffee in the peaceful square.
