We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). From the high points, you'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... Visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, she smiles upon the fishing village. Walking in the gardens of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees. You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.

What To Expect
The Marble Mountains
Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. A knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will learn interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.
The Marble Mountains
Continue to explore Marble Mountain, and enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha... Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures made by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.

5.00Excellent experience! Our tour guide Kha was very knowledgeable and super nice, the driver as well. Highly recommend, the tour covers the top sightseeing spots and Kha took many amazing pictures of us. We even got to see the rare monkeys as they looked out for them for us.

5.00I had a great tour with Vu and our driver. Vi is very knowledgeable and he really enjoyed teaching about the culture here. I learned not just about what we were seeing, but about the history of this part of Vietnam. He also compared it to the other major cities in Vietnam. Definitely a 5+ Star!! Would highly recommend this tour.

5.00Where to even begin we have nothing but great things to say from start to finish about our private tour with Kong. We were greeted by Kong at our hotel, big smiles welcoming and very friendly on time and ready to show us his beautiful city. We were picked up in a 60s American army jeep and my god the presence of this historic vehicle were turning heads everywhere we went. Onward we went head first into the tour up monkey mountain to see the beautiful vocc monkeys, stopping at a few vantage points on the way up to take some beautiful photos with Da Nang coast as the backdrop. Breath taking!! After a short while Kong and the driver spotted some monkeys and were quick to stop and point them out! Absolutely beautiful animals and the colorations of reds yellows browns and whites incredible. From there we headed down stopping at a few historical spaces where the US troops had their helicopter landing area, such a sad sad history but at the same time crazy to think just 60 odd years ago this would have been such a lively area helicopters landing taking off in the middle of the war. Kong is incredibly knowledgeable regarding all things Vietnam, he loves his country and takes such pride in doing his job so well! Kong felt more like an old friend than a tour guide. After all that we headed down the mountain to the big lady Buddha statue which is awe inspiring to say the least the craftsmanship is out of this world and the grounds surrounding it well maintained and so so beautiful all of the bonsai trees so meticulously maintained you will take some amazing photos here!! But beware of the cheeky little monkeys they are very brazen and will take things right from your hands without warning or hesitation. Then we were picked up in a nice air conditioned 4wd and headed to marble mountain. You best be fit if you want to see all marble mountain has to offer, we are avid gym goers and are very into our fitness and I still found myself out of breath here and there due to the steep climbs and what not but it is well worth the cardio and increased heart rate. Kong is an impressive man it seems he just floated up the steps with such ease, you can tell he has done it a few thousand times!!! We were taken to a marble carving workshop where they prepare produce and sell pieces of all shapes and sizes, get your wallet ready because it’ll be hard to resist the pieces and the detail carved into them is out of this world the Vietnamese people are incredibly talented no doubt about that!!! After marble mountain we headed to get some lunch at this great little Vietnamese restaurant recommended by Kong, the food was delicious but that goes without saying as most Vietnamese food is absolutely yummy, after we had lunch Kong collected us and took us back to our hotel. We were picked up at 8 instead of 9 which was recommended by Kong due to the heat which we are grateful for he is a very kind considerate person! Do yourself a favour and book this tour with Kong, you will not regret it!!! Kong, to you my friend thank you so very much for everything we will never forget this experience we wish you your family and your beautiful dog all the success and happiness for the future to come!

5.00We had the most amazing half-day tour in Da Nang hitting Monkey Mountain, Lady Buddha, and Marble Mountain—seriously can't recommend it enough! Our guide Carol was the star of the show. Her English is spot-on, super clear and easy to chat with, and she knows her stuff inside out. The whole trip was perfectly paced, no rushing, and Carol made it feel personal. If you're in Da Nang, book this—especially with her!
