From hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An, drive to MARBLE MOUNTAIN to explore huge natural caves used by VC soldiers as hiding places & hospital in Vietnam War. Take in the views of river, ocean & islands. Admire the rustic beauty of old statues, historical pagodas, and Buddhist temples. See amazing sculptures in a 500-year-old marble carving village.
We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). From the high points, you'll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific Ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats... Visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, she smiles upon the fishing village. Walking in the gardens of beautiful flowers and bonsai trees. You'll see common Macaque monkeys... IF LUCKY, you'll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.
You can choose Morning or Afternoon tour, With or Without a Meal at different Prices & Durations.

What To Expect
The Marble Mountains
Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. A knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues, and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will learn interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.
The Marble Mountains
Continue to explore Marble Mountain, and enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha... Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble sculptures made by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain.

5.00We had a great time with Kha 🤗. Our guided trip from Da Nang to the Marble Mountains and the Monkey Mountains on the Son Tra Peninsula was excellent. Kha was knowledgeable, friendly, and provided clear historical and cultural context at each stop. The itinerary was well-paced, allowing enough time for views, photos, and short hikes without feeling rushed. Transportation was comfortable and well organized. Overall, a highly recommended tour for anyone wanting a concise but rich introduction to the area’s natural beauty and heritage.

5.00We had an amazing tour with our lovely tour guide Ben and our driver. Ben was super knowledgable and had perfect English. Nothing was rushed and we stopped along the way to see various views and native wildlife like monkeys and butterflies. We took in all the sites of Monkey mountain and Marble Mountain and our driver happily dropped us back to Hoi An even though we had initially asked to be dropped back to our hotel in Fa Nang. Ben brought us to the best Bahn mi spot and helped us find an ATM - nothing was too much trouble - he also followed up with lots of restaurant recommendations by text. We would highly recommended this tour! Laidback, informative ans fun!

5.00Kha was a terrific guide. This was our most personal tour yet. He was knowledgeable and informative and allowed us more time for photo opportunities when we wanted, and moved along when we wanted to move along. Lam, our driver, was the most calm Vietnamese driver we’ve seen. Not ONE honk. :-) This was a perfect half day excursion.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Kha and his driver Quang. Punctual, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We felt very safe and comfortable in the air conditioned car. Excellent information about all the areas we visited, lots of photo opportunities, and Kha took many photos of us as well. Highly recommend this tour to others. Kha speaks English well and has a great sense of humour, a very entertaining trip for us.
