Originally from Australia, I booked this tour to travel with my elder sis. We are both mature-aged travellers. On the tour date, the guide arrived 10mins late, when he asked us to meet at 8.20-8.30am, he turned up at 8.45am. During the tour, there were about 7-8 of us - on board the Van, the group, were chatting really loudly. I put on my ear phones but can still hear every word. I messaged the Guide, Tom, to please speak to the group discreetly not to talk so loud, lower their volume, and talk amongst themselves instead of publicly. They were chatting about Sex and Drugs in their experiences as Backpackers! But the Guide, Tom, refused to ask them to lower their voice as this is a Backpackers Group and they want to make friends, he told us. I said I did not join a Backpackers Group and we are a paying customer, we would also like to enjoy our experience and the tour. He then ignored us for most of the Tour and just hang around and provide service only to the Backpackers Group. By that time I was having a pounding headache and felt car sick - I reached out to the Tour Operator to report this but he was Dismissive of my concerns and said they cannot ask the group to lower their voice since this is a low cost tour and dismissed my health concerns and the inappropriate talks of the group about SEX AND DRUGS! As we are elderly ladies and both of us fear for any repercussions, we just kept to ourselves and kept quiet throughout the tour. The worst case was, at the end of the tour, the guide dropped us off in the middle of nowhere, asked her to get down from the Van, without first discussing with me or kept their word to drop us back at the Hotel or meeting point. He said it was instruction from his office and he drove off with the rest of the backpackers group. It is very sad that the Vietnamese government is strongly promoting its tourism in Australia, this tour operator fall really short from basic expectations! Dropping customers off in the middle of nowhere, though it is somewhere near the city, without prior consent is totally UNACCEPTABLE! Especially when we have done nothing wrong and kept quiet throughout the tour. And you can FORGET about any support from Viator, they just asked me to write a review and cannot do anything else. There are many other booking platforms like Klook, Trip.com, that will have more calibre tour operators perhaps? For sure, I will dispute the charges and claim a refund from my credit card company. Will not book with Viator again. Definitely, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TOUR OPERATOR!

Itinerary included 3 waterfalls, silk worm factory and silk processing, pagoda and lady Buddha visit, cricket farm and rice ‘happy water’ home distillery, coffee farm and all included tasting (even the worms and crickets!). Tasty lunch and pleasant transport included! We were group of 11, which was perfect sized group. We would thoroughly recommend this tour🙂

Alex.was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. The 3 waterfalls were great to see including a coaster ride. For.me the next stops were superfluous(silk.factory, cricket farm and coffee plantation). Some my find them interesting. I know they feel they have to fill the day Anyway, it was a good day.with a good group and guide

This is a really well organised full day tour. I was picked up at 8.30am and backed at 6pm. The guide Alex is friendly and knowledgeable. He taught us various aspects of Dalat and Vietnam. I enjoyed this tour a lot.
