Uncover the darker stories Dublin has to offer on this guided tour through the city's sinister side. This experience explores murder, torture, grave robbing, brothels and the unsettling beliefs that once shaped life in the Irish capital.
Our journey begins at Dublin Castle, where beneath the architecture lies a brutal past of punishment and fear. Discover the tools of torture once used here, hear about priest hunters, and learn why the Upper Courtyard earned the nickname the Devil’s Half Acre.
Venturing deeper into the old city, we enter an area once known as Hell. We explore Dublin’s world of brothels, witches, dark rituals and the infamous Hellfire Club.

Kim was a fantastic tour guide. Delivered all stories to the group fantastically. Such a unique tour and a great idea. When Kim said the 2 hours would fly by, she wasn't lying! Very much recommend.

We had Kim as our tour guide, she was very knowledgable and friendly chatting to everyone between areas. Luckily we had lovely weather and very nice tour around the area with lots of information. Wish there was more about murder, mystery etc however we were a larger group which potentially slowed us down. Would recommend for a nice tour and something interesting for the evening.

Would highly recommend this tour. Kieron was excellent. Knowledgeable and with a great sense of dark humour, he brought the stories to life as we wound our way along the trip.

Loved this tour! You learn a lot of unique history and interesting stories that you wouldn’t otherwise get on a standard walking tour. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable and offered us a lot of local tips at the end too! Highly recommend this experience.

This is such a cool and unique experience! I always look for more off the beaten path activities when traveling and have always loved darker tales. This tour is a wonderful combination of both and did not disappoint. Kieran was an amazing guide - very knowledgable, funny, and personable. He walked me through Dublin and shared several stories about Dublin's darker side in history, random facts, and Irish myth/lore. He even made suggestions of places to visit and discover during the duration of my trip. I loved getting to see and hear about a different side of Dublin than most tours offer, even if I visited the site previously. It made it all better to hear these stories from someone who is super passionate and you can tell loves sharing them. I would highly recommend this experience whether as a group or a solo activity!

Hendrick (I hope I’m spelling this right) was fantastic! It was chilly and started raining quite a bit, but he made it worth it. He made sure to find us areas to wait out the rain, and was full of lots of information. I would highly recommend :)
