This tour is unique because guests get to spend most of the day touring the major sites on the Leeward side of the beautiful island of St. Vincent. The highlights of this tour begin with Fort Charlotte, Botanical Gardens, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dark View Falls, and finally, everyone can relax at Buccament Beach. At times we will visit the Botanical Gardens last before returning guests to their destination.
A minimum of four participants is required for this group tour to proceed; otherwise, the private tour rate will apply.

What To Expect
Fort Charlotte
Fort Charlotte is a British-colonial era fort, built on a hill, showing a beautiful view of the Kingstown Harbour, in Saint Vincent. This Fort stands at 601 feet above the sea level, it is the major early 19th century fortification in Saint Vincent. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Leeward side of the island, including Kingstown, Young Island, the Caribbean, Bequia and the Grenadines.
Dark View Falls
The Dark View Falls are two spectacular waterfalls, one above the other, cascading down high cliff faces and plunging into natural pools. There is a short and easy hike to the falls through rainforest and across the Richmond River via either a bamboo bridge or conventional bridge. You pass through a clearing in the middle of a pretty bamboo grove before reaching the first tall waterfall. Another short, but more difficult walk will take you up to the second waterfall, directly above the first. The waterfalls flow all year from a tributary of the Richmond River.

2.00Our guide was lovely, but his taxi was clapped out and cramped with six adult passengers. No seat belts or headrests for middle seats. Aircon didn’t work - had to be switched off when going up or down steep hills as the engine was at risk of overheating. Hills were tortuously slow. Taken to the Sandals beach - but only had access to a tiny public section where the state of the chairs and umbrellas matched the state of the taxi. Not enough time at the waterfalls or for lunch to arrive within our 30minute time window at the Pirates of the Caribbean beach, which we were told was a lunch stop opportunity. Promised snacks and fruit but given only a small slice of golden apple, bought by chance from a passing farmer. Stopped at a supermarket en route for ice and plenty of drinks available. Also missed botanical gardens as out of time to be back to ship. Not entirely the fault of the knackered taxi - we had stopped at a pharmacy, got delayed behind a large tour group (unable to cross bamboo bridge) at the waterfalls and had a longer wait than expected for lunch. Lovely island and great places to visit - but lots of our time was spent overheating in the clapped out taxi trying to get there.

5.00We booked the tour through TripAdvisor. The communication with tour operators was extremely excellent. They texted me shortly after the booking with the details and adjusted the tour to our schedule as we arrived earlier on the ferry from Bequia. The tour guide was very helpful, experienced, and what was most important, he was the very good driver! The falls were incredibly beautiful! Pack a towel if you are planning to swim. Highly recommend visiting and booking the tour with that company!

5.00Our guide, Oistin, took us to the waterfalls of this lovely destination. During the excursion, he shared a lot of information about the island. Oistin's knowledge and enthusiasm were evident as he patiently answered all our questions. The day was made even more memorable by the delightful company of two fellow travel enthusiasts. This guided tour comes highly recommended for those seeking an enriching and enjoyable exploration of this incredible place!

5.00The Driver was showing and explaining us as a local Guide everthing about St. Vincent. The Dark Falls were great and the stops also just Buccament Bay was not that nice, because everything was closed or under construction and this won‘t change until the beginning of 2024.
