What To Expect
Daufuskie Island
It begins with a boat ride from Shelter Cove Marina to the back side of Daufuskie Island. The ride is an important part of the tour! Along the way we will stop for dolphins and other wildlife, plus view and discuss the sites on Daufuskie and the neighboring islands that are best seen from the water. Once on Daufuskie, you'll get on golf carts and take a tour of the historic, undeveloped side of the island. We stop at all of the significant historic sites and artisan shops of Daufuskie.

5.00The boat ride to and from was very pleasant. We were able to easily spot dolphins. The guided golf cart tour was.very interesting. Captain Pete was very informative and accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour.

5.00Captain Pete was the best! He shared so many interesting tidbits about the area along the way and on the island. Highly recommend going in the morning and back by lunch. The tour supplied cold water bottle and you need to bring some snacks as not everything on the island may be open & there’s not much on the island to choose from! The island history is interesting and we enjoyed hearing family histories and how they live which is very simply. Highly recommend this tour with Captain Pete!
