Our day tour to this snow – caped Mountain, will give you a chance to conquer Kilimanjaro but not to finish it. On this day trip you will not require to have any special climbing gears, all that you need to have is comfortable walking shoes and rain coat in case it rains on your way up. The program aimed to feel and experiencing the Magic of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

What To Expect
Kilimanjaro National Park
3 hrs Drive The hike start at Marangu gate after signing at the park offices. Our guide will be available to assist you with any information you might have. You will need 3 hours to trek to to the first Hut. (Mandara Hut), you will admire the stunning view of 3 volcanic peak of kibo, Mawenzi and shira as your guide explains their geology and surrounding and you will need 2 hours back, you will walk down slowly to Marangu gate. While you observe for anything that you might have missed on your way up. A Moorland Safaris & Trekking Vehicle will be waiting to pick you up and return to your hotel in Arusha arriving at 19:00hrs.

5.00I did the 8km hike to Mandara Hut with Stephan and Luis and had an amazing time. The two guides were very entertaining and open to accommodate my wishes. They took lots of pictures for me which was a huge plus! I should add that I was a 19 year old girl traveling from the USA alone and I never had any concern for my safety on this tour. I highly recommend this day hike to everyone as long as they are used to a little exhaustion and sore knees.

We are so pleased that we discovered Moorland Safari to organize and conduct our recent Kilimanjaro day trip. Our guide, managed all the details very efficiently and made us feel very comfortable. We learned so much about the mountain and customs of the places we visited and are hoping to return again some day. We highly recommend Moorland Safari

5.00We booked a tour on realy short notice and Nasir did wonders! Everything was on time, we felt safe, had a wonderful trekking experience. Our guide were friendly and knowledgeable! The communication could sometimes have been a bit better, i.e. spontaneous changes due to weather etc, but overall we had a great tour and would definitely use the company for booking again!

5.00We were couple booked day hike to Mt Kilimanjaro, our guide isack was entertain and charming, we did 8 km and ascending back, we should plan another trip with Moorland safaris & Trekking in futures to have more time in this giant mountain :)
