Get a guide for your day tour in our High Tatras. You will have a chance to see some of the 17 peaks over 2500 m, Tatras mountain is very similar to Canadian rockies. Day tour will take between 6 - 10 hours, depends where you will decide to go with your guide.

What To Expect
Tatras National Park
Best thing before your day tour will be if you pre-arrange your itinerary with your guide couple days before. Tatras mountain offers hundreds kilometres of hiking trails. From easy level like walk to Popradske pleso up to advanced walk, to the highest peak of Slovakia. Make sure that you will bring appropriate outdoor equipment like waterproof clothes and proper hiking shoes. Ask your guide for advices, he will be more than happy to help you with it. ITINERARY - Meet the guide in the morning - Hike the trail /have to be prepaired before the tour/. - End of the hike in the afternoon

5.00It was a breath taking experience to see wild bears live: feeling the spirit of freedom and peace in connection with them. Was not my last tour there, more the beginning of a lifelong tour with those beautiful proud beings. Comfortable boots are an advantage :-))

5.00We spent a wonderful day hiking in the Tatra mountains with Erik. He picked a great trail for our activity level. We hiked 8 miles through the beautiful forest. We stopped for lunch at a chalet overlooking a lake. And we got rewarded for our efforts with cake and coffee at the end. Now we want to come back to Slovakia for the wildflowers and bear viewing trips. You cannot go wrong with doing anything with Adventoura !

5.00It was really easy to figure out a route that fulfilled my wishes and ideas. The nature was awesome and we we walked a solid 12km hike through Slovensky Raj. Some facts about history and wildlife added to the wonderful experience which I highly recommend :)

5.00Erik tailored our hike to exactly what we wanted - an experience in the High Tatras without killing ourselves. We had the perfect combination of a nice walk with spectacular views, an introduction to what it takes to be a ski jumper, and how to find bears in the Tatra forests. If you’re visiting in winter, go skiing, snow boarding or dog sledding with Erik! He speaks perfect English and has worked and traveled around the world. You’re in for a treat if you can spend some time in the High Tatras with Erik!

5.00If you are planning to visit Slovakia and do a day hike or multiple days hike in the High Tatras, there can't be a better agency than Adventoura. Erik, the owner, is not only an expert in mountain hiking but is one of the most genuine persons you'll come across. He is very intuitive, knowledgeable and adjusting. He doesn't treat you like a client but as a family member. I spent a week in the High Tatras with him and did a lot of fun adventure activities like hiking, mountain climbing, white water rafting, cycling, bear-watching, horse carriage-riding and many more. Many of these activities I was trying for the first time, but thanks to Erik, I never felt scared doing any of them. He never gave up on me and encouraged me to complete them. Also, I am a vegetarian yet I never struggled for the vegetarian food. Erik ensured everything was in place.
