What a wonderful day! Daniel was not in Blythe super knowledgeable about his own beautiful country, but also curious about us and our experiences and background. I could have listened to him talk with my son about music for hours! He took great care of us and his positive, lighthearted, and open spirit kept us buoyant throughout the day.

On our last day in Ecuador, following a few days in Quito and a week in the Galapagos, Daniel took us on a day tour to Lago San Pablo at the foot of the Imbabura volcano. We then trekked to the Pequeche waterfall. We made a final stop at the Plaza de los Ponches, an artisanal market which is one of the largest in South America. Daniel was an excellent tour guide. He shared historical, geographical and cultural facts and stories throughout the day. Daniel was kind and gracious, comfortable to be around, and easy to chat with. This tour was a wonderful way to say adios to an incredible vacation! I would highly recommend Daniel as a tour guide in Quito!!!!

Daniel is a great guide who is both knowledgable and enthusiastic about his country's indigenous cultures. The market is colorful and fun; a great place for souvenirs, including silver inlaid jewelry. We also made a couple of other fun stops, first for an Ecuadoran snack at a pretty lake with a great view of a volcano, another at a beautiful waterfall where we joined in on some Quecha dancing. It's a long drive but worth it.

We had a lovely day with Daniel as our guide. Prior to the trip, Daniel was informative and communicative about the days plans. The drive to Otavalo was informative and we saw beautiful sights. The market was great and we really appreciated Daniel's local connections and his guidance in the market and at Cascada de Peguche. Food was nice. Daniel was an awesome guide and highly recommend him!
