It’s a good time once you get on the boats but your drive there is twisty turvy. Take your Dramamine early to save your stomach! The boat rides are fun but can also be a little bumpy. The islands are beautiful and the people are lovely. Remember to bring cash as most of the shops on the islands can’t accept credit cards.

I would definitely recommend this if you’re going to visit Panama. I took this trip in September 2024, super late review. The driver was very professional and communicated very effectively. The driver was very mindful, so I did not get any motion sickness. If your driver is very cautious, you won’t get any motion sickness. The food was fresh! I do recommend that you just bring your own towel, a change of clothes, & a light bag that you can carry yourself. Just be mindful, this would take the entire day!

One of the most beautiful places, worth the tour, service on schedule, all as combined. And a place that looks like a paradise on earth. It's hard to find words!

The pick up time from our hotel was good, it was early but the driver was prompt. What we didn’t realize was that it’s a shared SUV with tourists on a different tour. The drive wasn’t that bad, yes windy roads the last hour. If you’re sensitive to motion sickness just be prepared. The boat ride out to the islands was expectedly rocky. We were fortunate to have a cushioned seat on the boat, but use a towel and you’ll be fine. Our visit was during the rainy season- end November, so we knew we were taking a gamble. While the sun didn’t come out as much as we had hoped and light sprinkles kept us from laying out on the beach fully, we enjoyed our time. Our biggest complaint… the logistics of the shared transportation was not thought out well. Since we shared a ride with a group who had a different tour, we had to wait for everyone to return. This resulted in a wait time at the waiting area (not on a nice beach) of MORE THAN AN HOUR before we could leave. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if the drive back weren’t 2.5hrs. Very inconvenient while cutting into vacation time.

The islands were absolutely beautiful, but the trip itself was organized poorly. As many other reviewers have said, the last hour or so of the drive on the way there is extremely nauseating. Additionally, our *tour guide* the entire day did not speak a single word of English, despite the tour advertising that they would. As such, we could not understand her directions/instructions or warnings and had to rely on someone in the group who was somewhat able to translate. Additionally, despite the tour advertising snorkeling masks, none were provided (other tour groups at the same islands had them, though). When we arrived at the boat departure point, everyone stood around for a good 30-45 mins with about 100 people who had no idea what was going on. There was little to no communication throughout the day. All that said, the water was stunning and I do highly recommend visiting -- though it would be worth booking in advance from more reputable operators.

This was a perfect day trip to kick off the vacation. Between the super experienced driver that picked us up from the hotel, to the indigenous guide on our boat around the islands everything was amazing.

Visiting San Blas on this tour was the highlight of our vacation! Beautiful beaches, easy travel. Getting there took about 3 hours but our guide made a stop so that we could grab breakfast on the way. Then we took a 45 minute boat ride to the first island which was a total dream! We got there early enough that we had the whole island to ourselves. We got amazing pictures and enjoyed the ocean. For lunch they served us fish and chicken with fried plantains, salad, and coconut rice. They even had vegetarian options. After 2 hours on the first island we jumped back on the boat and went to the other 3 islands, spending about 1 hour at each. Each island had its own magical experience. We were able to kayak (for free), snorkel (equipment was provided), see starfish, and interact with the Gunas and buy souvenirs from them. I was able to get some incredible pictures! Everything was included, our tour guide was funny and took really good care of us. I would strongly recommend this tour!!!

Getting there was long journey. Our boat broke down several times and then we had to switch boats in the middle of the ocean. We lost time on each island so it felt a bit rushed. Just be prepared for the unexpected.

The road is paved and smooth but if you have motion sickness- it is very challenging as a passenger, I threw up 6 times on the drive. I saw cars pulled over to allow other tourists to throw up as well on the drive. You will get zero information about the history, nature or anything else. It is more of a drive than a tour. This is the name of the island is all you will get. If you walk further than the immediate beach you will see alot of pollution and trash which made us sad. The boat ride is a little choppy- I just wish there was actually some information imparted on the tourists- this $200 tour is a taxi service, do not expect more than this.

Excellent excursion, we left very early because there is a car route, in the last 20km has many curves, but I took dramin pq had already read about it. After we arrived at the place, a guide from there, pq is another Comarca dos Guna, took us to 4 beautiful islands, lunch, and time p enjoy the beautiful waters. We also stopped in a natural pool.Simply loved, the drivers spoke English and Spanish, friendly...
