We stayed at an Airbnb and got picked up at nearby hotel around 545. The first driver was ok didnt speak much English but that was fine too. The drive was pretty long. Waiting to get your passport checked tooked forever. the roads getting to island were very curvy but he drove great. Once your at the beach part you have to pay 25 cents to use the bathroom and they were pretty nasty. The boat ride to the islands was rough going there. The islands were just ok very beautiful though but they all looked the same after a while. BRING BEACH SHOES! Those rocks were no joke even with beach shoes. nothing really much to do on the island only was 2 canoes, maybe some volleyball that’s it. They didn’t have lounge chairs which was a bummer. So seating is very limited. The meal was not that good to me. The fish was ok(you can request the head off) the plantain was meh the coleslaw was eh. I was still hungry afterwards. The boat ride back was much smoother. The guys are on the boat were great too! Getting back we switched drivers. This driver I didn’t care for too much. He spent a lot of time on his phone as we’re going up and down those winding roads. I didn’t feel very safe. We got back at 645. Overall it was ok, great views and was nice to be on the water

I have booked with Viator several times and have always been very happy with the quality. However this was the very disappointing. This was described as a snorkelling tour, however we hardly saw any fish at all. We bought snorkeling gear and were excited to use it. Also jumping off and getting back on the boat at the natural pool was not safe and several people slipped. We did not hear any history or any information on any of the islands The lunch was delicious and the tour was well organized but it should have not be described as a snorkelling tour. It was more of a beach tour as the islands were very similar. Also when we returned to the van for the ride back to the hotel, the driver asked us to get in the van and he then disappeared for 1/2 hour with no explanation where he went or when he would return. I definitely would not recommend this tour. The 5-6 hour transportation was definitely not worth the price we paid

It was long day. The first and last islands were not impressive but the natural pool and small dog island was amazing. I haven’t gone to other beaches that are closer to Panama City to compare. If they’re nice I’d skip the hike to Blas Islands. The service and punctuality of the tour was amazing!

Fantastic trip out to San Blas Islands with a friendly and knowledgeable guide who went above and beyond to make it special. Just be prepared for a very choppy boat ride at high tide which wasn't enjoyable, though worth it for the end result.
