The islands themselves were beautiful but I really hope the organizers got it together because they made it a very frustrating experience. First of all, they never reached out to me to tell me when they’d meet me and where. I had to message them through WhatsApp to make sure that I was getting picked up the morning of (5am). I was freaking out because no one was answering. Then after figuring that out, it was a huge mess picking up the rest of the group. The drivers themselves were GREAT. But the actually organizers seemed to over complicate things because the driver couldn’t do their job right if the organizer wasn’t communicating with them or the group. Point is, I had to be switched cars because they didn’t know who was getting picked up, then they put me in the wrong boat. Organization-wise: HORRIBLE!! Beaches - gorgeous!! If you decide on this tour - make sure to know all the details beforehand - don’t expect them to do it. Happened to another girl I was talking to in the island smh

This was the most expensive ride I've ever made on this trip, but I don't regret it. After I went, I understood why it justifies the price. The place is far away, requires a route of 2:30 by car, then more than 1h by boat. The islands are beautiful. I never imagined so many islands, large and small, inhabited. The natural pool is a prime work of creation. It's very worth it. The day was rainy, but it was still worth the experience.

This tour was a nightmare where they cram you into a small SUV with zero leg room for a three hour ride. They changed our departure time that morning to earlier with zero notice we were lucky we saw it and would not respond to questions. Our driver was rude and in general a horrible person. We asked to get a different driver in the way back and while we were ultimately successful they charged us a fortune to do so. Islands were beautiful just pick a different provider. We travel frequently and have never had such a terrible experience.

Unfortunately the stunning and wonderful place and the very fine attentions that have the whole Guna community, are overshadowed, with nefarious drivers who hire to take you to and from Panama. I got a super nefarious, informal guy. We knew in advance that it is a shared transport, but the informality of this person came to a rather vulgar tone. He wrote to us the night before to coordinate our departure from the hotel, which would be at 5 in the morning, as a client you take care to comply with the schedules established to avoid delays, so I respect the time of the other tourists who share with you this adventure. What you least expect is that the person in charge of passing you will be 30 minutes late. Which he didn't even apologize for. In addition to this, and knowing that it was a long transfer and that other people would travel with us. You are subject to the options that are there, but because of the delay of the speudo (driver) and being the first to come looking for us, it turns out that we were the last, and with an otherwise tight space, the van did not have adequate seat belts, and when I apply it will indicate how I adjusted my belt, (since I had half a meter without adjustment) asked me if I was sure of wanting to put on the belt. That was not necessary as he was an extraordinary driver. Anyway, the horror story didn’t end, and yet we had already looked bad in the morning, 30 minutes late, on our way out we did the same again, 40 minutes waiting, claiming that I had to wait for the other people and that it wasn’t his fault, I questioned him that because he didn’t deign to even answer my messages, and he mocked, and in the end he even told my husband and me that we were complex. NEFARIOUS...!!!! Hopefully Viator cares a little more, about the quality of people who subcontract to offer us a respectable tour, and with the correct safety standards. The person named Russell is a jerk, very unprofessional and dirty an otherwise extraordinary tour, as it is a real paradise, which is very worth seeing. All people Guna are very respectful and friendly are the Tourists. But the transport service provider leaves much to be desired.

The overall experience of today's San Blas one-day tour was very bad. The brochure promised four islands, snorkel masks, paddle boards, beach volleyball, etc. — but none of these were provided. I booked an English tour, but the company sent a driver who only spoke Spanish. The guide's English was also poor, and they didn't manage or help with anything. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. 今天的San blas一日旅行整体体验很糟糕,宣传单上写的四个岛,提供浮潜面罩、桨板、沙滩排球等等,一样都没有,预定的英语团,却派了只会说西语的司机,导游英语不行还不管,总之体检非常差。

Could have skipped the third island and spend more time in the first island. The car ride was uncomfortable. They should have 5 passengers instead of 6 passengers since the middle seat is not meant for an adult.

San Blas was an incredible experience and I'm glad I booked. From our driver to the tour guide, everyone was kind. The islands themselves were beautiful, the water was gorgeous, and the weather was perfect. They provided us with lunch and it was delicious. It was quite the journey to get there and back, but it was not bad at all and I highly recommend booking this experience!

Traveled a little withdrawn, but it was worth it, the journey. The islands are spectacular, crystal clear water and very friendly people.

Do not skip this tour!! Especially if you love the beach. Amazing...toasted now but worth it!. Don't let the internet or anything scare you, it's not scary and the time is totally worth it! So the drive to go is about 2.5 hours but honestly it's so early the time goes by fast. The road is relatively new (2 year I think) so it's a smooth drive. Yes it is windy and up and down but it's more like short bursts, nothing steep or crazy. Basically like a baby/kiddie roller coaster and the drivers are from Guna so they know the road pretty well. The boats aren't fancy but they aren't uncomfortable and there are life jackets. You do have to hop in and out the boats multiple times so you would need to be comfortable in that sense but you just have to take your time. There were some older persons on my tour and they did just fine. Because once you get to the different stops (4 in total)...absolutely breathtaking !!! There are also shopping options (souvenirs, cocktails, coconut water). You just have to go! Don't visit Panama and not go if you like the beach. The natural pool, basically walking around in the middle of the sea! Spotting starfishes. The water is amazing. It's pretty shallow on the first stop. Also one of the stops actually accepts card payments, the others are cash only. By stop four it does get a bit tiring but my word it's just a beauty to behold and a must visit!

It’s a very beautiful place! But each of the 4 islands is basically the same! It’s an extremely long day. Not suitable to small kids or the elderly. Climbing in and out of the boats over and over is somewhat difficult especially if you are old and fat. The trek from central district Panama is long. If you only speak English you will need to request a guide that speaks English or you will miss a lot of the learning and discussion. There are food options during the day and on the islands but… Pack your own snacks! I witnessed the locals ‘washing the dishes in a filthy Igloo cooler filled with disgusting water!! Yuck! You will be in the hot sun all day bring sunscreen and Bring a couple bottles of water! Also Bring small denominations of US dollars!! Overall this is a very crowded and over used tourist trap with beautiful white sand and blue water.
