We support the local community, San Blas is a Indigenous protected zone, all our staff are local Gunas for Transportation, Boat, Food etc.. you will experience how they live and learn about their way of life.

Pickup from your lodging is scheduled between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM, although in some cases it may be as late as 5:45 AM. To ensure a smooth experience for all guests, please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby by 5:00 AM. If you are not at the designated pickup point, the driver will try to locate you, but cannot delay transportation for more than 10 minutes.
You are allowed to bring additional beverages.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR ORGINAL PASSPORT. WITH OUT IT, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER TO SAN BLAS.
Please notice San Blas is an Indian protected zone. All the services are basic and rustic, only kuna people are in charge of all tourist’s services such as food, ground and water transportation, lodging, etc, we work with them to support the local economy. Please take this into consideration, the services are not as in the city, the waiting time can be long, and kunas are more informal. We have provided hospitality train to them, but they are still working on it, their culture is different, they are never in a rush, this is part of the adventure to San Blas. Food is basic such as fresh fried fish with salad and rice.
The vehicle is 4x4 for 6 passengers plus the driver. Pick up time is between 5:20am to 6:00am depending on the route, you can be first ones of last ones. Please be ready at 5:00AM to avoid any delays to other passengers. No Show – or Mayor delays will incur in a penalty – cost of reservation fee. In case you will be pick up in Costa del este or near to the airport, pick up time is between 5:45 and 6:00am
Day tour return is at 3:30PM. You will arrive in Panama City between 6:30PM and 7:00PM.
We recommend you bring your personal hygiene items, towels, sunscreen, mosquito repellent. You can bring a cooler with your own drinks, potable water, snacks and beverages (fruit juice or alcohol) you can by on site or bring it yourself.
The driver will make a stop in a super market where you can buy a disposable cooler, ice etc.
In San Blas Islands there are no ATMs, only cash in received. You can buy drinks there, snacks, souvenirs etc.“+Movil” and “Digicel” are the cell phone companies which works in San Blas Islands.
There is no power electricity in the huts, only light.
Transport time is 2.5 hours way in and 2.5 back. Then 40 minutes to the island in boat. Real time in Islands is around 6 hours.

Pick up starts at 5:20am in your hotel or airbnb, it is a shared 4X4 for 6 passengers. Once everyone is on board we will make a stop in the supermarket so you can buy snacks or other drinks (beer, wine, water etc), or get cash from an ATM (card is not accepted in san blas). There are around 3 hours driving, the last hour is a bumpy road in san blas hills, but our drivers are very experienced as they have travelled everyday to san blas, and if you are lucky enough our driver will spot a sloth or monkeys on the way in. Arrive to the port around 8:30am and jump in to the boat once all the cars arrive, your guide Naidi will introduce himself. After 30 minutes in boat arrive to the 1st island in this paradise: Island Chichime where you will have fruits, kayaks, and paddle boards exclusive to explore the island at your own, just for our clients! Please notice the drivers do not speak English just our guide, but they will make the effort to talk with you.
Guna Yala (san Blas)
First stop Misdub Island those are one of the best islands in san blas, where we have kayak and paddle boards for our clients, you will have time to rest and take a fruits snack.

Engine malfunction

3.00Very nice tour guide, and food was provided. I also liked that we had pickup included. However, our boat engine malfunctioned in the middle of the ocean. We were there for quite a while, about 20 minutes We had to switch boats on the water, taking off our life jacket to switch. When it was time to leave the last island, they brought back the same boat that broke down, and we were unable to leave for an additional hour. By the end of this, i was pretty drained from the experience. Nice and helpful tour guides but i feel like they need to stay on top of their boat maintenance!

1.00The Ugly: Here is my horrid, racist experience with Nida and Yadiel's Tours. Honestly before this happened, I would have still graciously given this company a three but these things just took an already subpar experience into the depths. -At one of the stops, there is no dock and you unload directly into the ocean, which is awkward but fine. When getting back in the boat started rocking a lot and I became afraid and looked to the guide, Nida, for help. He shrugged his shoulders and then looked away. Whatever, I let it go. -When getting back into the boat from the third island, Nida told me to sit in a different spot. I thought maybe they were just rearranging and didn't think anything of it. When another black woman came and sat down next to me in the boat, Nida, sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes and told me I was in the wrong seat. I said I was confused. He said, “Lady, lady, please, ugh” and shook his head at me. He then said, “You should be in back”, and I said, “But you told me to sit here.” He said, “I confused you with the other one (pointing to the other black woman). I couldn't tell the difference.” Then he turned around like nothing happened. I was completely shocked. So disrespectful! So that was gross. The Bad: -Outside of the blatant racism, this company was just completely disorganized and chaotic. -First , the boat broke down and we floated in the ocean for 30 minutes. No communication was given about what was happening. -We had to transfer to another boat in the middle of the ocean with nothing holding the boats but our hands. They also told us to take our life jackets off so that they could keep the life jackets with the right boat. So we all did that exchange in the middle of the ocean with no protection whatsoever if we fell in the ocean. And actually my shoe fell off as we were transferring but luckily another passenger caught it for me. -Also, Nida didn't do a good job of giving us timelines and so at one of the islands, he just came and rushed us out of the water and was like, let's go. -The worst was at the final island, Nida finally gave us a time to be back at the dock. He told us to be there at 3:30. We were all at the dock at 3:30. We waited UNTIL AFTER 4:30 for our boat to come!!! No communication was given from Nida about what was happening. We also could have spent an extra hour in the water instead of waiting on the dock. -At the end, Nida made a sly comment saying he was sorry about all the bad stuff that happened, and then later shrugged and said, “That's life.” Worst customer service EVER! The Good: -The islands of course ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! -The staff at each island are kind, helpful, and the lunch was delicious! -Definitely worth the trip, just choose another company. -Also, it is pretty far from Panama City and you are traveling across the country which is great. You get to travel through the whole rainforest basically and we even saw a sloth which was nice!

4.00It was a very long drive to get to the boat a little over 2 hour car ride than there was a little bit of technical difficulty with one of the boats but otherwise was a great experience. The islands was very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful. To top it offf the tour guide was very friendly and professional I forgot his name but great guy.
Amazing sea, awful tour

1.00The islands and the sea are truly amazing, something truly unique that we can see in the Caribbean. If you just want to see the water and don't mind the rest. However, the tour is done by the local population and do not seem to be interested in whether the customers are satisfied. Clearly the goal of the tour was to fill the car and the boats (which are bad for the amount that is paid) with as many tourists as possible to reduce costs. We cannot attend most of the islands by local legislation. At lunchtime, we had to wait for all the tourists to come from the beach to eat. We waited a long time for lunch and when we were sitting, we still waited another 30 minutes. I won't talk about the food because it was cold and hard. The guide presented nothing of the islands and does not speak much English. The driver was talking the whole way of local laws. After all, I saw people from other countries complaining about the price of the tour. In my opinion, the cost benefit of the tour is awful, high value paid for a minimum quality. It seemed like they were doing us a favor. I know that this feedback won't change anything, but it's left for people to think.
