What To Expect
Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle)
We depart for the Bran castle and mysterious legend of Dracula our last stop before our return drive to Sibiu via Brasov.
Brasov
Drive having the view of the Carpathian mountains all the way to Brasov known as Kronstadt in German the 7th largest city in Romania. The city provides a mix of wonderful mountain and medieval history with German influences in the old town. In a 2-hour walking tour, we will discover its historical and cultural sightseeing of Brasov the “Crown City”. Admire the Weavers' Bastion and go to the 4-foot-wide Rope Street (Strada Sforii) also Brasov Synagogue and see the Catholic Church, Post Orchard, White Tower and Black Tower. The city tour ends with some free time for you to explore the city on your own and have lunch.

1.00Was ok Castle Bran, but having the driver or guide was very exhausting. The ride was dangerous as he had almost caused an accident several times (driving too close and sometimes dangerous overtaking maneuvers). Church in Brasov is beautiful but the way in which is dealt with by the leader is questionable. Leave to stand and wait until someone is free from the volunteers to learn something(20 minutes)

3.00There must be somewhere better to go to than Bran Castle. Some poor quality special effects and not much else. Brasov was fine but really not worth the effort of the long journey from Sibui.

2.00Last June I booked a Bran-Braşov Day tour for July 15 through online. It was confirmed and I was really excited. The day before the tour, I received a call from Carpathian Travel Center to confirm for tomorrow. They also informed me that, unfortunately, I was the only tourist who booked for the tour and asked if it's okay. I said yes and they gave me instructions for the meeting time and location for July 15th. The morning of the day tour, I met my guide Flori and we went to the van to start traveling to Bran. As we sat inside, we started talking and he told me "You f*cked my boss' day today." Dumbstrucked, I asked him why. "Because you're the only tourist today and we can't get a profit from it. You could've taken the train by yourself to get to Bran," he continued. It was a shock to hear it and I said "That's not good to say. I am aware of it and your boss could've arranged something to either get more tourists for this day trip or cancel it. It would've been appropriate to explain since he called me yesterday." And he continued talking like it was MY FAULT that this tour pushed-through. As a guide, he was informative. Although I can't count the times he peppered his words with motherf*cker, f*ck and sh*t but that didn't bother me. I just find it very inappropriate and disrespectful to "somehow" put the weight of the blame on me for being the only booked tourist for that day tour. The entire day-tour wasn't as exciting as I expected since he threw a "bomb" on the first minutes of the tour.

5.00We really enjoyed our day to Brasov and Bran The tour guide was very knowledgeable and chatty. Be prepared for a long day however as we left Sibiu at 8:30 and got back at 20:30. Would recomend!

5.00This is a great day tour. The drive from Sibiu was beautiful and allowed us to see some of the countryside on the way to Bran Castle. Our guide was so full of knowledge and friendly
