Beautiful, but strenuous hiking to sites. Great tour guide!

5.00Helen, the tour guide was great! She was very careful and helped everyone on tour. The description of this tour should mention it is very strenuous. You are told this on bus when enroute to destinations. I saved my steps for the gorge. It was absolutely beautiful. There are many steps to climb and a lot of uphill and down hill. Just know this going in, and don't be surprised! It was absolutely beautiful sites. it is a long day, but my family really enjoyed all the sites.

2.00The tour missed one place according to the agreed itinerary (which is pubished in the app). I complained to the tour guide and he said he was not asked to go to that missed place and I should check this with Viator. I have asked for partial refund; it has been more than one week, no response at all! Very dissapointed!

3.00Whilst the gorge itself was very interesting, the other activities did not justify the 7 hours we spent in the bus getting to and from Fukuoka. This then made the stops very rushed and given the large group size it was impossible for our guide to share the information evenly across the group.
Beautiful history and nature. You should not mis this!

5.00This was a great tour outside of Fukuoka! We were able to visit various areas and learn about the local myths associated with them. During this tour, I proposed to my now fiancée at Takachiho Gorge. The TrevoTour Travels team was extremely helpful! They did an amazing job communicating and assisting me in any way they could. My tour guide, Emy, was amazing as well! She provided the best + most picturesque area to propose at and even coordinated flowers. I'm grateful for all the assistance it making my proposal special! Thank you again! I definitely recommend going on this tour!
