The history that goes with the various buildings and dates of their construction are very interesting. The ethnic backgrounds of the builders during the past are quite fascinating

It's a good value for the money, given that transportation and a basic tour are included. For me it was great because I was in Helsinki for a very limited time and the tour helped me make the most out of it. The tour guide was nice but she could have been perhaps a bit more enthusiastic.

Great day trip. Beautiful town with so much history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions for shopping and dining as well as the history, politics and background of Tallinn. The ferry was fun.

Knowledgeable guide. Communication prior and instructions were excellent. A long day but very worthwhile.

Our guide was informative but provided too much detail of historical events. Several times he would start a story and then move onto another one without completing the first story. He appeared to have so much historical knowledge that he didn’t know which event to expand upon. The city is beautiful and, despite the detailed history lesson, there is a lot to learn. The ferry ride is nice as there is entertainment at the front of the ship. Be on time as they are prompt on their departure times. We would recommend this as a nice day trip from Helsinki.

It was really convenient to have our ferry tickets purchased and a quick transfer to old town. The sound system used by the guide was also good. She was however, boring and faced away from us for much of the time. There were many sites she gave very cursory comments about and we waited for long periods of time at many stops so multiple photos could be taken. I was a tour guide and we have taken many tours around the world. This was a weak tour.

Well organized and the perfect amount of time in Tallinn. Upgraded to a cabin for the trip back which was well worth the additional cost to have a bed.

Guide was passionate about his home country after having returned to it, but needs better public speaking skills. He was hard to hear as well. Best part of the tour was the restaurant La Prima right next to where tour ended...incredible food and service!

First of all, the passengers line up early and push to get the best spots. Go to floor 8 and try to sit in the large area at the front of the ship where there is a “band,” but the main attraction is comfortable seating. There is also a small area on the side of the ship towards the front with comfortable seating. If you are traveling at dinner or lunch time, I highly recommend the VIP lounge on 6, right next to the information desk as you get on. It is 34 euros each, but is lovely, quiet, with a light meal and beer and wine included and private restrooms and seating
