Nairobi National park is located approximately 7km from Nairobi city center. The park boasts of hosting 4 of the big 5, that is, lion, Buffalo, leopard and rhino, the park also has about 400 species of birds.
Located at the heart of Kenya, and founded by Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Melville, lies the giraffe center home to the Rothschild giraffe. The couple started by moving 2 giraffes, Daisy and Marlon, to their home in Karen, breeding them and taking care of them leading to the establishment. With time, the number of giraffes at the center has grown.
The Bomas of Kenya is a cultural site set up by the government for the sole purpose of cultural preservation of the Kenyan community’s culture and heritage .It hosts traditional dancers from various communities who entertain visitors every day at the site.

5.00Our safari with Kenya Tour Budget was already fantastic, but one hilarious monkey encounter made it legendary. A sneaky monkey tried to grab snacks during a stop, and Juma laughed so hard while warning us about the “professional thieves.” His humor and positive energy made every day enjoyable. Beyond the laughs, he was excellent at tracking wildlife and sharing fascinating details about each species. We saw elephants, buffalo, lions, and so much more. Kenya Tour Budget created an experience that was affordable yet rich in adventure. Thanks to Juma, this safari was both educational and wildly entertaining.

5.00This was quite a unique trip with a lot going on. At one point, I decided I would stop reacting and just “act natural.” That lasted about three minutes. The moment something incredible appeared, all plans went out the window. It’s surprisingly difficult to stay calm when you’re surrounded by scenes that look like they belong in a film. The scenery stretched endlessly, making everything feel larger than life. Meanwhile, the wildlife carried on as if nothing unusual was happening. The contrast was both funny and humbling. I eventually gave up trying to act natural and just enjoyed the experience for what it was - amazing and slightly overwhelming.
