Exquisite scenery. Escape from Rome

5.00In under an hour, we were outside the bustle of Rome sailing down by a beautiful lake, enjoying an incredible. Amy under through three different small charming villages and we’re immersed into the culture. Simon was very engaged from the first moment we met him. He also provided excellent communication while planning our excursion. During the travel here visiting the castle in Aguilera, which was well worth the it. I would highly recommend this trip and be sure to ask for Simone with Scoot around Rome!

5.00It was so lovely to leave touristy Rome and visit three beautiful, peaceful villages around Bracciano Lake for the day! Simone allowed plenty of time for exploring each village on your own but was always available to answer questions or give tips for things to see or places to eat. He is such a wonderful guide, great sense of humor, obvious love for Italy and its history. Oh - and loved seeing the village cats!! I would highly recommend Scoot Around Rome and Simone for any of the tours he offers. You will have a wonderful day!!

5.00We were so happy to go on the day trip to Bracciano! For me, it was one of the highlights of our whole trip. What really made it special was our guide, Simone. He made it fun and interesting as he shared his love and excitement for Italy, and specifically Bracciano, Anguillara, and Trevignano…three beautiful towns surrounding Bracciano Lake. My personal favorite was Anguillara; but we had the best hot chocolate and cornetti in Bracciano! Simone allowed us to go at our own pace, stopping to explore when we wanted, yet always available to answer our questions or direct us to points of interest. He is a wonderful driver and his car was comfortable for the four of us. I would highly recommend this tour and a double recommendation for Simone, a great guide!

5.00Simone is excellent and has a great sense of humor. He had water and soda for us in the car, and a welcoming , personal and friendly attitude. Anything we wanted, he accommodated us. We spent the entire day with him and never felt rushed. Very knowledgeable about Rome and Trevignano areas. We will definitely call on him again next time we’re in Rome. AND, besides Italian, he’s fluent in French and English!! For American standards, his car is smaller, but 4 of us, along with our luggage, were comfortable. The car does have WiFi.

5.00Very very nice tour. It rained very hard but still we took beautiful photos and tour guide did everything to help us have a good day. He was very attentive. Not a shopping tour, but very picturesque towns with beautiful views.

5.00Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Simone is a very friendly, knowledgeable guide who speaks perfect English. Was so lovely to leave the hustle and bustle of Rome just for one day and visit three beautiful, peaceful villages near Bracciano Lake with insight to the history and culture of the area. The amount of time at each stop was perfect and we had plenty of time to explore on our own too and enjoy the most delicious food next to the beautiful lake. Thanks Simone. Perfect day.

5.00We spent a wonderful day with Simone touring these three charming towns. Simi was a wonderful guide and also gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. These towns are less known to tourists and weren't crowded which was an added bonus. We were able to explore and enjoy them without the crowds. We booked 3 tours with him- and all three tours were great. Highly recommend him!

5.00Visiting Bracciano Lake and its charming villages was such an unforgettable experience! Just a short trip from Rome, yet it feels like a completely different world. The peaceful atmosphere, stunning lake views, and beautiful nature are the perfect escape from the busy city crowds. The villages are so typically Italian—full of history, cozy little streets, and a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s the ideal spot to relax, enjoy some authentic local life, and take in breathtaking scenery. Highly recommend if you want a little slice of authentic Italy away from the tourist hustle!
