This tour, which takes you from Tokyo to Murayama City in Yamagata Prefecture by Shinkansen bullet train, features a special experience visiting the birthplace of Iaido. Along the way, enjoy scenic views from the train windows while savoring an ekiben (boxed station lunch). At the Iaido Shrine, visitors can experience the history and the spirit of bushido left behind by those who mastered the way of the sword, and experience the depth of Japanese culture.
Afterwards, visitors can watch a brilliant performance by an iai master and the powerful art of sword drawing with a serious sword, followed by a chance to try samurai swordsmanship yourself using a simulation. This is a rare opportunity to experience Japanese samurai culture up close and personal.
