Spend a memorable day trip from Brasov to Piatra Craiului, one of the most challenging massifs in Romania. Together with a specialized mountain guide, you will climb on the main ridge or, depending on your physical condition, you will choose one of the optional routes available.
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Brasov. After a short transfer to Zarnesti, you will reach the starting point. The hike begins with a moderate ascent through a beech forest. Once arrived in Zanoaga meadow, you will see the amazing views of Bucegi mountains and the main ridge of Piatra Craiului mountains. You will continue on an easy trail to Curmatura Chalet, the highest situated hut in this massif, at 1470 meters. Once arrived at the chalet, you will choose one of the trails that lead to the main ridge, to the Ascutit peak (2150 m) or choose another route that best suits your fitness level and experience. Any option you choose, your guide will take good care of your safety.

5.00I had a such a great time. The walk was really steep but the views were worth it. Radu was my guide, he was such a lovely guy with a lot of experience. Thoroughly recommend!!

5.00Great day! I had a fantastic first experience around Piatra Craiului which is a beautiful national park based around 30 minutes from the city of Brasov. Radu the guide picked me up from my hotel and we hiked around the base of the mountain and walked around 700m upwards towards the cabin. The walk was beautiful with Radu showing his experience with the route and pace of the hike. We stopped off halfway at the cabin for lunch and plodded back down to the car park. We saw bears, foxes and plenty rock climbers! This day trip was from 9-4, but could have been longer if I hadn't have to catch a train. Would recommend!

5.00Irina and Alex are really greats! They have a big knowledge about the mountains also the tracking/having techniques... They helped me a lot to overcome my fears about walk on the rocks and climb! I really recomend! Next time I will observe the bears!
