We will dress you up in special rescue floating suits made of light, waterproof material, that will keep you warm and dry, so you can spend nice time in the water.

However, you will be tempted to get out as we'll set up a cozy cabin, enjoy some cookies and drinks and warm up. This is a small group tour so you can enjoy time with friends, away from the crowds.

Please note that snow or ice on the lake cannot be guaranteed in October and November, as this is a natural phenomenon beyond our control.

This tour requires average physical activity, you have to be able to climb stairs and move in the water.

This tour includes a pickup & drop off from listed hotels. The time for meeting point and place will be confirmed upon the reservation by email and/or text message. Please note that our tours and transfers follow a fixed schedule and therefore we advise being at the designated meeting point 5 minutes before the meeting time. Failing to be at the pick-up point at the given time may result in missing the transfer. Refunds will not be issued for the missed activity or any inconvenience caused as a result.

Snow and ice on the lake are not guaranteed in October–November, as this depends on natural conditions.

Brandon picked us up at the designated spot and drive us to a beautiful lakeside cabin. We were fitted for our suits and taken out to the lake to float. Brandon made sure we had plenty of photos, and the float was so relaxing and serene. Following the float we had some N/A glogi and ginger cookies, while Brandon shared fun stories about the northern lights. This was truly an incredibly unique experience and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves!

unique experience. brought to a frozen lake, changed into rescue suit, then floated freely as we wished. guide on the shore helped to take pictures. most of us floated for 30 mins then left the water. they served hot juice and cookies, and talked a bit about the landscape nearby

the experience was liberating. I was slightly afraid that i might panic in the water bue to past open water swim experience but the floatation suit is so buoyant that i felt very safe throughout the experience. Brendan is also a gem that add more value to the experience

Absolutely loved the experience! Brandan and Mattia were wonderful guides and hosts, super knowledgeable! The activity itself is amazing must-do! Its easy to float with the suits on so can do this even if you cant swim well.

What an amazing experience we had! Alex was our guide who guided us through the floating experience. He was with us throughout the process. We were picked up from our hotel and then welcomed by his beautiful wife who too helped us get into the floating suit and walk us till the lake. We were briefed in detail, covered all the safety aspect and then was ready to float. You could float on the lake till your heart desire, absolutely no rush. Breathtaking place, so serene, Snowy landscape, just felt magical! They helped us take lots of pictures. Later after the float we were treated with some hot Finnish Glogi juice with cinnamon cookies. It was a small group so we had lots of fun with personal attention to all. I would recommend this to all if you are looking for some quite and magical experience to experience nature in a different way.

This was such a fun experience - one of our favourite activities during our whole trip! We were picked up exactly on time from Rovaniemi, and the minibus took us to the delightful cabin next to the beautiful frozen lake. We were given lots of opportunities to take photos, and getting into the survival suits was a hilarious experience. Brandon was a fantastic guide, very informative, helpful, fun and friendly - we warmed to him immediately, and felt very comfortable exchanging some banter. The ice float itself was brilliant, only a certain amount of people are in the group at a time so it wasn't too crowded in the water, and being able to just float on your back like an otter was simultaneously relaxing and so hilarious. It felt completely safe, and as long as you've worn warm clothes, you don't feel the cold much at all. Afterwards, we were given cookies and hot juice to warm up in the cabin, and the vibes were cosy and chill. 100% would recommend this activity if you're in Rovaniemi!
