What To Expect
Pointe-a-Pitre
Pointe-à-Pitre cruise terminal: Our driver and guide will be waiting for you from 8:30 am near the tourist office and shops (Terminal 1) of the cruise terminal with a sign mentioning your name. Further information will be provided at a later date.
Plage de la Perle
Your guide will take you on a scenic drive along the coast. You will drive along the magnificent beach where the Inspector’s house aka “shack” is set up every year during the filming period. Your guide will describe the scenes filmed on this site and the difficult shooting environment for the actors. Please note: the Inspector’s house is only visible from May to August.

5.00What a brilliant trip this was. We love DIP and this trip was so informative. Much better than the cruise trip tour. Only 8 of us so was more personal. Our guide was excellent, such a lovely guy. We managed to beat the queues to everything! Botanical gardens was gorgeous aswell. I can’t recommend this trip enough….FANTASTIC

5.00Wow, great tour! We stopped at the Death in Paradise beach location, the pier, the police station, walked the downtown, and had lunch at Catherine’s Bar. The guide was informative and had pictures from the set (he was an extra on the show). The botanical gardens was an unexpected treat, be ready to walk a bit!

5.00This was the most brilliant experience - we were collected just outside the cruise terminal by Olivier and Christian. The itinerary was explained and we enjoyed a hassle free drive to our first stop- Olivier is super knowledgeable having been an extra in Death in Paradise and had the inside track on everything with pictures! The visit to Honore police station was a highlight - all timed perfectly to miss any other visiting excursions so we had the place to ourselves - lunch at Catherine’s bar following a walk through ‘Saint Marie’ was another highlight - wonderful food and overall experience - this is the best operator for the Death in Paradise tour - Olivier was fabulous and the trip also included a great visit to the Botanical gardens ( another DiP location!)

5.00We highly recommend this Death in Paradise and Botanical Gardens tour. We booked with KARUKERA Experiences. We were kept informed of our time and meeting point. Oliver Brudey was a very friendly guide who was so knowledgeable about all the settings used in the series. We were in a small group and this allowed us plenty of time to visit the locations. We had an excellent lunch at Catherine's Bar and we returned to the Ship in plenty of time. A Must do Tour in Guadalupe. 1st class experience. Thank you Oliver.
