Absolutely excellent tour guide. Knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The experience felt smooth, well organized, and personal from start to finish. Every stop came with great stories, local insight, and thoughtful details you would never get on your own. They were patient, engaging, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. This tour didn’t feel rushed or scripted, it felt authentic. If you want to truly understand the place, not just see it, this is the guide you want. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic day and were well looked after by Damian, Claudio and Michel. At all times they made sure we were safe and most importantly we had a good time. Equipment was excellent and was checked multiple times on the trip. If you want to do this trip then go with the best company Gravity Bolivia. Also if you think its not for you we were a 68 and 70 year old couple and had a great time.

We did the Death Road MTB and loved it! Great for all experience levels as there is a guide at the start and at the end! We had some riding experience so stuck towards the front and some of the less experienced people took a bit more time which was no biggy. If you bring a small bag its all kept on the bus when riding, so I'd suggest bringing a spare change of clothes as there are showers at the end. Damien and the team were great, informative, fun and professional!

The Death Road Tour with Gravity Bolivia was awesome! Damian and team not only revive the bike scene in La Paz, but also guide with great passion. Safety is also the top priority at Gravity Bolivia. The bikes and the material are checked for their function before and during breaks. In addition, only powerful hydraulic brakes are used, which is often not the case with other suppliers. With Damian's super instructions, even beginners don't have to worry! The tour is really impressive, on the drive you will cross different vegetation and at the finish you will land in tropical forest with an animal park with which the tour can be rounded off (optional).

The guidance of Noel & Claudio was outstanding. The level of experience is excellent. While Noel explains and guides in smooth English, Claudio is a wizard in fixing flat tires & other mechanical hazards. We had not much contact with the driver of our bus, but we felt safe during the whole time. The breakfast at the meeting point was really okay: fruit, eggs, bread, tomatoes, coffee or tea and a juice. The Death Road itself is fun, but you always have to be careful. Leave distance between the other bikers (that was my concern number one during the ride: others that don’t remain distance). Just follow the instructions carefully, please! Don’t forget sunglasses, especially when it’s raining. The rain can hurt your eyes! You’ll get snacks/lunch and plenty of water during the ride. Bonus: showers at the animal shelter you will visit. Much needed after the muddy ride (we went in December). Prepare that the ride back to La Paz by bus = 3 hrs. I don’t recommend this trip if you are really not comfortable on a bike on a tricky and rocky parcours. You will not only be a danger to yourself, but also to others. See it as a sporty challenge, not as a thing you should do just because you want that picture on Instagram/share the story on your PolarSteps. We had someone in our group who got lucky, that is why I point this out so much. But if you are a confident biker and you are ready to manoeuvre on rocky surfaces: do it!

This was the most amazing day. Kenneth and the team delivered the best experience. Gravity tours provide an exceptional service. From pickup we had a delicious breakfast and were briefed on what to expect on our adventures. Once we hit the road we were constantly briefed on all things safety and how to navigate the road. I felt so safe and knew exactly what to expect. To top it off we finished our day with lunch at the animal sanctuary, observing the mo keys and other animals … and no other tour operators provide this, it was wonderful to support the local wildlife sanctuary while tucking into a delicious lunch. If you are looking to do the death road biking experience Gravity is the only company I would recommend as their attention to detail and focus on safety was beyond what other operators were providing.

Damien & Abel - thank you soooo much! Safety - perfect! Value for money! Guides were incredible! Their only concern was our safety and our fun! Couldn't have asked for a better day! A real defining moment of South America as a whole!

I had no idea who to book with and choose Trip Advisor’s top pick. It was an inspired choice. High quality bikes with finger touch disc brakes (so important on this ride), outstanding suspension and high end tyres. We had a wet top section but the company provided jackets, long pants, thick gloves and an extra rain jacket. Made all the difference. Brilliant guides in Damian and Maurice. Both experienced riders. We went down pretty quickly but they knew all the black spots and pitfalls. Clear guidance along the whole route. Great company and an amazing experience. So worth doing, even if not an avid mountain biker.

This is a really memorable experience and a must-do if you are reasonably confident on a bike. Just getting to see the Andes from a windy 4700m down to the jungle at 1200m being so close to everything on the back of a bike is awesome. The guides did a great job of making the experience good for the whole group - and most importantly, safe. I’m not so good with heights and my wife hadn’t ridden much off bitumen, so we were nervous that we would be over extended. With some clear ground rules and a good system set up by the tour we felt safe and able to enjoy it all.
