The tour guide, Steve, is quite probably the nicest person I have ever met. The tour was fantastic and Death Valley is an experience everyone should have, but taking the tour with Steve put it over the top.

Fascinating experience and worth the time. There were 5 participants in total, so a very small group. Steven, the guide, was great, he was very eager to talk about Las Vegas, Death Valley Park, the history and formation of the salt flats and Badwater. He will make sure you have lots of pictures! Dante's View was a highlight, as was the drive through the valley. The whole trip was 11 hours. The stargazing is really dependant on the Moon, we got 1/4 cresent on our night, so the sky wasn't dark. I would still go even without a totally dark sky. As it was the end of July, the temperature was very high in the valley - 118 F, so we only spent about 15 min outside of the van at Badwater pool, which was perfect. The stop at the Ranch for dinner was a perfect break. Thanks Steven!

Death Valley was beautifully alien and unlike anything I've ever seen and as a city girl, the unpolluted night sky filled me with absolute awe! Our tour guide was phenomenal and was so gracious, offering to take photos at every stop to capture my family's experience, I will treasure these photos forever!

Though i know I'm writing my review 1yr late, I feel its important i do. Just wanted to say that our driver was great. he may have not been the most knowledgeable, but he was friendly, personable, and always ensured we were taken cared of.
