From the hotel in Beirut, with a smile you are picked up in the morning for a drive to your first must-see stop, you will have almost 1.5-hour to explore the local architecture of the unique village of Deir alqamar which was before the capital of Mount Lebanon, this lovely town is restored and maintained in a style many centuries old, it’s not only preserves its grand feudal architecture, but its old stepped streets, the souk, mosque, church, museum, walled gardens and picturesque corners as well.

It was a great day of my last day in Lebanon ! 旅に出る前の計画では、訪れる予定ではなかったのですが、、、最終日に一日どこへ行こうかと考えあぐねた末、急遽申し込んだ当ツアー、前日の申し込みにも関わらず即確定をいただき、結果、充実した一日となりました。女一人でプライベートチャーターというのも、いくばくか不安はありましたが、そんな心配はご無用の、紳士で明るく陽気、英語も堪能なドライバー、Redaのおかげで楽しく過ごせました。どんなわがままも全部叶えてくれて、本当に感謝しています。Deir El Qamarの街はかわいらしく、期待していた以上に私を虜にしましたし、Beit ed Dine Palaceも素晴らしい建築、内部の見学も非常にみごたえがあり、もっともっとたくさんの人に知ってほしいエリアだと思います。車も清潔で快適、本当に充実した一日となりました。Thank you!

5.00My guide/driver, Harake, was excellent. Guy showed up early (not Lebanese time haha). He had safe driving and offered to take me breakfast but I told him I already had breakfast in hotel. Water, gum, and tissues were provided. Car was comfortable. Places visited were beautiful. Entrance fees are not included so be sure to bring Lebanese currency. For an 8 hour day, the private tour price is pretty reasonable. If you finish early—like I did, they even take you to Al-Shouf Cedars Reserve. Seeing all those Cedars with a paranomic view is incredible. Again, very reliable and professional company but it’s the guides that make or break your trip. I was lucky enough to get Harake who was enthusiastic about his country and to have conversations where you just learn & listen to views and beliefs about diverse topics—is to me the best kind of travel. Travel is the best education and to have a very chill and relaxed guide who goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy is awesome. Harake found a little shop on the mountainside so I can taste Lebanese beer. Also, he was nice enough to stop so I can take a photo of a sign that says “shisha delivery” because I didn’t believe it. Shisha delivery?!? Why don’t I live in Lebanon? :-) This company is awesome. Go with them. I even requested to go to Beaufort Castle for a different date and owner is so prompt with responding to my questions. Highly recommended. Safe. Honest. Reliable. Guides with personality and enthusiam.

5.00It was an amazing day trip with a nice guide and a nice itinerary. My friends and I were pleased to discover this amazing side of Lebanon together with our guide. Eazy too book, they were punctual and had a flexible schedule according to our preferences. I truly recommend it and I would do it again!

5.00This is a tour which is really underrated so far and everyone must take it in order to understand close Lebanese culture and history. Our tour started with a pick up from our hotel and headed to the mountains. We first reached Deir el Qamar village where you can see mosque, church and synagogue all together within 50meters. The village itself was also some sort of capital of close geographical area incl. even Damascus. From village you head to Moussa Castle with unique collections of all kind of stuff. Designed well and entertaining with a great view of the valley when you get out. Next, we ended up at Beidettine palace of some Ottoman pasha of his time. The palace reflects a mix of Lebanese, Andalucian architecture and a little well known elements of Turkish culture. The tour normally ends with einwzein Grotto which is a newly found cave with similar characteristics to jeita but smaller in size. However we were lucky to have our passionate guide and driver Mr.Harake. He decided to take us up to the mountains and we saw the beautiful snowy mountains and cedars of Lebanon on the same day at once. Thanks to our guide Harake and Lubnan Local tours for the clever design of this tour. We also had the advantage of tailoring our needs with private car. If you cant decide which tour to take and you are into knowing cultures and history more, take this tour w your eyes closed with the quality service of Lebanon local tours.
