5.00I would say the Demerara sunset cruise with Blackwater adventure is a must try for all types of visitors (both local and international tourist). The new bridge made it convenient to get to the marina. Our guide Ms Angie was helpful in providing directions to the location and guidance from booking to the end of our tour. Talk about customer service ! The experience was serene ! Something about the water was calming. One of our favourites was getting to see the birds nest in the mangroves, especially a close up of the scarlet ibis ! The bright feathers is so captivating ! The beauty of the bridge comes alive seeing it from the water front as well ! Makes you super proud of witnessing where we came from to now something improved. Kudos to Black water adventures for offering this opportunity to people

5.00We had an awesome time, the captain was awesome as well, we got to see the new Demerar Harbor Bridge, nesting birds and so many more from the River. The staff were very friendly and accommodating which made the trip even better.

5.00Communication was very good, and the company was very flexible with scheduling. Angie and Sean were our staff, and they were very friendly, approachable, social, and outgoing. Sean provided background information about the area and what we were exploring. The sunset was beautiful. Once you're on the river, it's very relaxing and enjoyable. I would just say to be prepared—if you're coming from downtown, it will take extra time to get there, especially during rush hour. I do recommend the boat ride, though.

Angie, our guide, was friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate; she pointed out hidden gems, answered all our questions, and made everyone feel comfortable. Ideal for couples, families, or solo travelers looking to unwind while learning something new. Overall we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this tour with Angie.

5.00It was a fantastic experience overall. The Demerara River is beautiful and full of sights to explore and learn. Enrique, our pilot, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour to everyone interested in learning more about Guyana and seeing its impressive nature.

5.00I'll admit that this review is a bit biased, as the coincidence of the century happened while I was on this tour: My fellow passenger turned out to be someone who WENT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL IN INDIANA. So my experience wound up being a bit of a class reunion. Although I highly doubt that you will reunite with any old classmates on this tour, you are still in for a wonderful experience. The sunset truly is spectacular, and the sights and wildlife you'll see along the way are too. Also, Blackwater Adventures takes you out on a small speedboat, unlike some of the other tours which use larger, slower watercrafts. In short, I highly recommend.
Great pics, several wildlife encounters, very professional, prompt, friendly and they go above and beyond at Blackwater.
