Set out to explore Dhaka City like a local, journeying through the narrow, winding lanes of Old Dhaka by rickshaw and taking a rowboat ride along the Buriganga River to witness the dramatic ship-breaking yard. Once installed as the capital of Bengal by the Mughals in the 17th century, Dhaka was among the wealthiest and most prosperous cities in the region.
Your experienced guide will lead you through the vibrant, colorful, and lively streets of the city. Highlights of the tour include a walk through the chaotic Kawran Bazar, visits to the Dhaka Flower Market, Dhaka University, and the Dhakeshwari Hindu Temple. You'll also explore the 17th-century Mughal Lalbagh Fort, the Pink Palace (Ahsan Manzil), historic Shankhari Bazar, the bustling river port of Sadarghat, the beautifully tiled Star Mosque, and the serene Armenian Church.

Rakib was a great tour guide and had everything well under control, navigating and negotiating with the local drivers from each place we had visited. At no time did I feel unsafe walking through the streets or riding in the vehicles through the busy city (not too busy given it was a holiday). It really was an experience Dhaka through the eyes of a local. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend!

Unforgettable from start to finish!” I can’t even begin to describe how incredible our trip to Bangladesh was – all thanks to Mr. Azim! Everything was arranged perfectly, down to the smallest detail. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of. The schedule was smooth, balanced, and full of surprises. What I loved most was how personal everything felt — it wasn’t just a tour, it was an experience crafted with heart. Mr. Azim’s passion for his country is contagious! You don’t just see Bangladesh — you feel it. I came home with so many memories and a deep admiration for the people and culture. Highly, highly recommended!

I had a very fun, action-packed tour of Dhaka. Azim was very prompt with creating an itinerary and despite me imposing some time constraints on him, we managed to hustle and see almost all of the sights on the agenda. He has come up with an exciting and ingenious itinerary that utilises more unusual modes of transportation that tourists aren't used to in order to avoid Dhaka's epic traffic jams. Besides one ride in a car, we rode on various types of rickshaws as well as a boat. It was thrilling and memorable! He is personable and flexible. We visited Lalbarg Fort, Curzon Hall, Shakhari Bazaar, Ahsan Manzil, the Star Mosque and the Armenian Church. I even managed to fit in a spot of shopping. You can see more if you have the time or just relax and take in the sights in a more leisurely manner. He'll adjust the schedule to your needs. I thoroughly enjoyed my day in Dhaka with Azim!

“Professional, kind, and truly exceptional” Our experience with Azim and his travel agency was nothing short of perfect. Every single arrangement ran smoothly — hotels, meals, timing, all first-class. What really stood out, though, was his kindness and calm energy. No matter what we asked for, Azim made it happen — always with a smile. He introduced us to local traditions and stories that gave our trip real meaning. I’ve never felt more welcomed in a foreign country. This wasn’t just a holiday; it was a journey of connection and discovery. Thank you, Azim, for everything!
