Conor Pass
Your journey begins or concludes — depending on the weather — at the breathtaking Conor Pass, one of Ireland’s highest and most scenic mountain drives. From this dramatic vantage point, sweeping views unfold across Brandon Bay, Tralee Bay, and the Dingle Peninsula. On a clear day, the panorama stretches as far as Mount Brandon and the endless Atlantic horizon. It’s an awe-inspiring stop to immerse yourself in the raw beauty of Kerry’s landscape, capture striking photographs, and pause to reflect before your descent into the colourful charm of Dingle Town.
Eask Tower
Visible from the road across Dingle Bay, the 19th-century Eask Tower stands atop Carhoo Hill. Built to guide ships safely into Dingle Harbour, it remains a striking landmark of the town’s maritime heritage.

Our group of four had an absolutely fantastic time with Steve! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. He was punctual and excellent with communication. He knew so much about this land and its history and had such a caring and fun way of showing us. We saw so many magical stops along the way and Steve couldn’t have been more accommodating! I would recommend Steve again and again and will be sure to book with him if we return in the future! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Steve for the best part of our visit to Ireland!

Amazing experience. Steve is very knowledgeable of the area and Irish history. He brought every stop to life with added detail. He knew the roads like the back of his hand and strategically plotted our course to optimize the experience while avoiding the crowds aka tour busses. We felt like we saw everything without any rush. Steve is knowledgeable, personable, and very customer oriented. Really can’t recommend this tour enough.

Perfect! We loved seeing everything with great history from ancient to modern times. Steve is warm, personable, and accommodated all our needs and interests. He shared stories that only a local would know plus his expertise and warm style that made us feel comfortable and enthralled by the special qualities of the natural and cultural history of the area. The tour was perfect for us to ask lots of questions, take photos, and explore each area along the way. Many thanks for a special experience we highly recommend.

My wife and I unexpectedly had several free hours in Dunquin, outside Dingle. The area is breathtaking but we had no idea how to spend our time enjoying the local area. Our hostess recommended Steve’s because recent guests raved about their bespoke tour with the company. We were able to book our own tour with Steve’s and the experience was delightful. He started by bringing us to Conor Pass to view the majestic views of the landscape and provided us with a fascinating lesson on the history of the local land and cultures that lived there since prehistoric times. We have visited Ireland many times and his engaging and personal warmth helped us to appreciate the events and circumstances that helped to form the classic Irish culture. An objective point of view and a deep knowledge of history, geography and cultures made the entire tour fascinating. After Conor Pass, we traveled through other interesting locations including the Blennerville Windmill and concluded with a tour of Tralee. The best analogy I can think of to describe this experience is to compare it a time we had an Italian expert walk us through a custom tour of Pompei. In each case, we were fascinated, energized and grateful to have enjoyed the time with a guide who was intelligent, warm, attentive and engaging. If we can arrange things, we will come back and book a tour of several-days length for our older children that combines the Ring of Kerry tour and the Dingle tour to take a deeper dive on the history of the region.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience with Steven from Steve’s Peninsula Tours during our trip to Ireland. Steven met us at the airport promptly and we felt safe right away. He is not only a kind and genuine person, but he was also incredibly flexible and accommodating during our time in Ireland. Steven was able to bring us to the places we wanted to go and he also took the time to introduce us to additional places we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. His recommendations were spot on—one of the highlights being the opportunity for my daughter to hold a baby lamb, which she absolutely loved! Steven truly went above and beyond to make our trip special. We’re so grateful for the experience, and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, experienced, and personable guide in Ireland.
