As you cruise on the upper Zambezi River, you will also see the mist rising up from the magical Victoria Falls. The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest river in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. The Zambezi's most noted feature is Victoria Falls.
Zambezi National Park
This park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the park. If you are lucky you might come across animals such as hippos, elephant, crocodiles, kudus as you cruise on the Zambezi River.

Absolutely fabulous! What a picturesque and relaxing way to spend an evening along the river and a bonus getting to see some of the wildlife along the way. The service, food and attention to detail all made for a very satisfying excursion. We wanted for nothing.

What a beautiful way to experience sunset on the Zambezi River. Seated upstairs at the back, I had a glorious clear view of the river. The food was fabulous, every course delicious. Lovely groups of people all chatting and enjoying each other's company. Spotted plenty of hippos and witnessed a beautiful sunset. Highly recommend this dinner cruise.

Fantastic dinner drinks and view on the Zambezi river. I highly recommend this trip from Pure Africa, our boat was, others were just half full or less. I think it’s because of the quality on this trip

One of the best sunset dinner cruises I've experienced to date! Sunset on the Zambezi River, Zambia side was worth it. Viewing Buffalos, a warthog, Hippos and so much more. Eating great food and drinking fabulous wine was worth every penny of the price. Thank you

Beautiful river cruise. Wear shades for the first hour, as the sun has not set. The dress is smart casual. The food was delicious! Be patient because the food is given to you when cooked. Eat a light something before you go. You will see birds, hippos and crocodiles.

This was such a treat. A lovely dinner with great service and open bar. The set up was absolutely beautiful. Seeing the animals as we cruised was a bonus treat - impalas, crocodiles and hippos! The cruise was peaceful, serene and a perfect end to my trip. The song performed by the staff at the end was lovely. Highly recommend this experience!
