The Canyoning Company is the national training centre for canyoning, we provide excellent fun, tailored trips with safety or top priority. We have small groups for maximum time with your instructors and always have two instructors on every trip for your safety and enjoyment. Join us for this unforgettable experience.

What To Expect
Dollar canyon is one of our most popular canyoning trips. It is great for beginners or intermediates and just 45 minutes from Edinburgh. Dollar canyon is very accessible and holds some awesome features; with jumps up to 5 meters, epic natural water flumes and many waterfalls (the most jaw dropping being the two tier waterfall over 25 meters!) This lush green canyon is set in the stunning Clackmannanshire countryside overlooked by Dollar castle. This is a true Scottish canyoning experience in every sense of the word and will be sure to leave you inspired. When you arrive you will meet you experienced and qualified instructors. You will get changed into all you equipment which high end and very warm. We will the take a short 15 minute hike to the starting point where you will learn the ropes and have a safety brief with your instructors. From there you will journey down this thrilling canyon. We will tailor it you you, we can make it as adventurous or chilled as you want.

5.00The canyon was challenging and fun with loads of opportunities for abseiling and jumping. Ben, Emilia and Josh were a great and very professional team! All the necessary equipment was provided. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about going canyoning.

5.00A truly amazing day in the heart of Scotland abseiling, jumping and sliding down the canyon. Dollar canyon was absolutely stunning, Ben was outstanding he gaged the group perfectly, not to much hand holding. He was super good with his instructions which made you feel very safe. The day was a mixture of laughter, adrenaline, learning and most of all loads of fun. All in all a great day and we cannot wait to book again.

5.00Awesome day! Ben the guide was fantastic. Well trained, patient with beginners like myself and kept us safe throughout. Sliding, jumping, abseiling and trekking through the glen. Wetsuits kept us warn, harnesses and ropes were backed up for added security, and any concerns has alternatives were offered. Great wee day for any level of experience

5.00Amazing experience, we have done ghyll scrambling and gorge walking previously but this was a different level of adventure with proper equipment (the boots especially make a difference) and some technical abseiling, and not just one or two jumps but about 6+ decent jumps and a few slides and about 4/5 abseils in the 4 hours we were in the glen. The glen is a spectacular backdrop to the activity, leafy green and mossy with some great water features. Our guides were enthusiastic and clearly passionate specialists in canyoning rather than spreading themselves over lots of activities which really made it feel like they were letting us in on their personal passion.

Rory and Kirstin where very patient with less confident members of the group and explained everything in great detail which allowed for a better experience during the event.. i would highly recommend the trip and the instructors to anyone looking for an introduction to canyoning or for a more intermediate challenge
