Nothing compares to the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling! The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program lets you experience the thrill of diving under the supervision of a PADI Instructor. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills before heading off on an open water dive. Your open water dive takes you as deep as 12 metres/40 feet! (Of course this depends on where you dive.)
You must check-in by 7:30. If you are late and miss the boat, a refund will not be granted.

Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Must know how to swim
Please visits the PADI medical form. If you answer any yes to the following you will need medical clearance form your doctor.

What To Expect
During this activity you will have the opportunity to learn what its like to scuba dive without having to be certified. You will get to know the wonders of the ocean and will be able to see marine turtles and other up close. Must know how to swim.

5.00My first diving experience. Booked last minute as a “might as well” experience. Was not certain it would be for me. I now plan to get certified. Bella played a big part in that. She kept me feeling safe and confident when i was still so new to breathing underwater that my body was still wanting to tell me it shouldn’t be happening. The team/captain also found us a fantastic location. I was eye to eye with a turtle the second i stopped my initial descent on the “fun dive”. Then there were plenty more things to look at after that. Although Bella also gets points here to. Inbetween checking if i was ok, she was pointing out places to look to find things like an octopus.

5.00Great day of diving. We met at the dive shop and the kitted us up quickly and efficiently. We drive to the boat in our own car. The boat itself was a really nicely fitted out boat - They even had showers and a bathroom! We dove with Josh who was a great dive master and dive guide perfect for our needs. The whole experience was great, the dives were gorgeous and the sea life and Corals exactly what we wanted. Just a great day diving.

5.00My husband and I went out on discover scuba with Captain Jay, Lola, Jose, Josh. The crew was fantastic. They were all friendly, fun, and patient. Lola was our scuba instructor and she was amazing. She guided us every step of the way. She made sure that we felt confident before moving on in either of the two dives. We always felt safe in the dive. The experience was amazing. We saw sting rays, turtles, crabs, eel, and beautiful fish. Lola was a wealth of knowledge and a lot of fun. Being on the boat was truly like being with family and made for an excellent day.
Top-notch instructors and a great all-around experience.

5.00A big shoutout to Luis, Jose, Carlos, Josh, Jonathan, Jay and the rest of the Sea Ventures team who led us on a great week of diving that included one daughter earning her Open Water certification, another daughter refreshing hers, and me completing my Rescue Diver certification. I’ve been diving all over the world (including with Luis 15 years ago) and never encountered a better, friendlier team. Just the right touch with my new diver! Thanks for everything.

5.00I am not certified, though I am very comfortable in the water and have done a discover scuba diving type class a few times before. The instructor I had was great, and everything went well during the training dive. On the fun dive, we saw a lot of animals, including a shark, three sea turtles that just hung out with us, and even a dolphin that started playing with us right at the end of trip. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you're doing the Discover Scuba Diving, it's not really a two tank dive. The first dive is only a short 10-15 minute training dive and you only use a small portion of the air in the tank. The second dive the entire tank is used. I think I'm going to get certified and do another trip with SeaVentures next year, so I get the full two tank experience.

5.00Had a great time diving the 2-tank Fajardo dice. Visibility wasn’t that great but there was lots to see. Turtles, rays, eels, giant lobster, octopi, grouper, pipe fish, and best of all, a playful dolphin that swam around us for at least 10-15 min at the end! Boat was very nice! Crew was amazing. There’s a bathroom on the boat. Snacks and drinks provided. Highly recommend!
