Step back in time at the UNESCO-listed Choirokoitia Archaeological Site, one of the oldest and best-preserved Neolithic settlements in the Mediterranean. Walk among the stone foundations and reconstructed circular houses that reveal how people lived more than 9,000 years ago.
Kato Drys Bee & Embroidery Museum
Step inside the charming Kato Drys Bee & Embroidery Museum, a hidden gem that brings Cyprus’ traditional life to life. Discover how local families kept bees, made honey, and embroidered the famous Lefkara lace by hand. Our friendly local guide will walk you through the beautifully restored stone house, filled with vintage tools, embroidery displays, and old photographs. You’ll see traditional Cypriot costumes, antique furniture, and honey-making equipment that tell stories of village life from generations past. There’s also time to take unique photos of the exhibits and the picturesque courtyard and try excellent quality honey before we continue our scenic journey through the village.

5.00I had a really lovely experience with Roula, my guide. It was just the two of us, which I genuinely appreciated—it felt private, calm, and safe, especially as a woman traveling alone. She was welcoming, kind, punctual, and very friendly right from the start. I immediately felt comfortable with her, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Everything felt relaxed and enjoyable, never rushed. She’s approachable, easy to talk to, and happy to explain things and share insights about the culture in a natural, relaxed way. What stood out most was how thoughtful she was. While we were together, I mentioned a few other places I wanted to visit, and Rula gave great recommendations. She said she would send me links — and she actually did, the very same day. I really appreciated that, because so often people say they’ll follow up and don’t, but Rula did, and quickly. She sent links to restaurants and other places within just a few hours, which was so helpful. Roula also went the extra mile by making an additional stop at the end simply because she knew I was interested in sightseeing, even though it wasn’t required—and it was on her way. That small gesture meant a lot. I really enjoyed my time and would absolutely recommend a tour with her.

5.00We had a lovely half day tour with our guide Roulla. My daughter was amazed by the round houses in Choirokoitia and we learned so many interesting details about that ancient time. My husband and I really enjoyed tasting local wine (who knew Cleopatra drank only Cyprus wine!). I loved Lefkara village, it’s so charming. I bought a few handmade lace umbrellas. Of course you can always drive around the Cyprus villages yourself, but then you’d miss so many fascinating stories, friendly chats with locals and that special connection with Cyprus culture and people. All this we experienced thanks to Roulla. Highly recommend this trip!
