We were picked up at the hotel. During the drive, Karen, the guide and driver, told us all about the environment and some details of the wineries we were going to. At the wineries they served white -, rosé - and red wines. At one winery they served champagne. With every wine there was a little story. As a bonus we also went to a chocolate factory. It was a really interesting tour and we learned a lot about the Marlborough region. It was nice that it was not all about trying to sell wine to you, but more to inform you. There were three couples in our tour and the company was great. We had a lovely afternoon.

We spent a very pleasant afternoon travelling between four Marlborough wineries in the area of Blenheim. Our guide/drive Keith provided great local knowledge of the wine area, and the people at the four wineries were fantastic. It was a whole afternoon experience so make sure you allocate 4 to 5 hours in your schedule to take this tour.

We rate 5 stars because we can’t give them a higher score, everything was perfect! Gavin was our guide, he came to pick us up at our accommodation, he was so friendly yet professional and knowledgeable! He was absolutely punctual, the van he came in was pristine, we had a lovely chat during the ride, from small talk to actual wine conversation, during which he asked for personal preferences in order to be able to pick the best wineries for us. We went to four vineyards, he couldn’t pick better! All the people we met there were lovely and informative, we purchased a few bottles for ourselves and we had the best time, really. The weather was amazing so we managed to sit outside to do the tasting, which added even more value. Absolutely recommended, definitely 10/10! The whole organization was perfect, we couldn’t ask for more. Shoutout to Gavin, an absolute legend!

Had such a lovely wine tour experience thanks to Gavin our tour guide/driver, sommeliers of all cellars we visited, and small tour group. Such a good introduction to white wines (as my partner and I usually drink reds). Props to the growing Marlborough Wine industry! Will definitely bring some bottles of Sauvs and Riesling for family and friends to try back home in the Philippines :)

We loved this tour and our tour leader Lyndley was so nice, accommodating my elderly mother and her needs so well which we really appreciated. It was a complete bonus when we went to Whitehaven which is our absolute favorite Sauvignon Blanc from the region. Highly recommend taking this tour!

Gavin was a fantastic host and shared 4 wonderful family-run wineries. We especially liked Forrest Winery where the owner tailored the wine choices to the tour group.

We took part in a half-day tour of four Marlborough wineries, starting from Picton. The shuttle bus took us to Blenheim, where the wine tour began. The staff was very friendly and endeavoured to create a pleasant atmosphere. However, there were some points that we liked less. A stopover at a chocolate shop seemed more like a promotional event and did not really fit into the concept of a wine tour for us. The visits to the wineries were interesting, but the focus for our taste was too much on pure wine tasting. Everything went quite quickly, leaving little time to experience the wineries in peace. There was also a lack of opportunity to buy something to eat, which would have been desirable given the many wine tastings. We would also have liked more information about viticulture – for example a tour of the vineyards or insights into the production process. Personally, we were disappointed with the wines. They couldn't keep up with South African or Californian wines for us. Whether this was due to the selection of wineries visited, we cannot judge. However, it was striking that wine prices in wineries were relatively high – often twice as expensive as comparable or better European wines. Overall a nice tour with friendly service but with room for improvement in terms of depth of wine experience and value for money.

We had a lovely afternoon visiting 4 different vineyard 'cellar doors' and sampling 4 different wines at each location along with 8 other passengers. Our driver Keith was fantastic, giving the background to the local vine growing region. Would recommend this tour to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon visiting 4 vineyards and tasting a wide selection of grapes and styles of wine. Glenn was a great tour leader - very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. We had 3 or 4 wines in each vineyard and a cheese platter at Jackson’s which was delicious and exactly what we wanted.
