5.00We did pottery and mosaic 3 hours experience. Wonderful!!! They explain us how they do and then we made our one mosaic tiles, we decorate a tajine and use the pottery wheel. We spend lovely time with them. Special thanks to Abdul and his brother! We will have as souvenirs our handmade piece of artisan!

5.00Very easy communication with Abdou, driver met us without issue, and they were able to accommodate a change in our itinerary on the day of the tour. The tour itself was fascinating, and the transport from our riad and back was painless. Short tour but well worth the money, would recommend to anyone traveling to Fes with an interest in the traditional pottery and mosaic tile. Handmade pottery like this is truly a lost art!
Excellent must do tour to understand more about Moroccan architecture and culture.

5.00This tour is so fascinating and will inform your whole trip in Morocco. We loved learning about the making, painting, mosaic and tiling techniques from the start of the process to the finish. Abdou was an excellent communicator in English and happily answered all our questions. This is a must-do in Fez and very good value.

5.00Very interesting visit. The entire process of making, cooking pottery and cutting and assembling for the mosaic is visualized. Artisans are really artists. It's beautiful. I recommend this tour with our guide who was great.

5.00The visit to the ceramic factory in Fez was an authentic and very satisfying experience. Amed (our guide) spoke perfect Italian and was very kind, helpful and precise in descriptions. It allowed us not only to try our hand at making a vase but also to paint works already made by the factory's artisans. The thing I appreciated the most was painting with the artists as they made their works: it was like a journey back in time, through the culture and traditions of the Moroccan people. The shop is also very nice and, unlike the other shops around the Medina, you do not feel "forced" to buy their products! Very positive experience and absolutely recommended if you are visiting the city of Fez.
A must-do in Fes - completely unique and really exceeded our expecations. Amazing value for money.

5.00Absolutely brilliant! My husband wanted to see how the classic Moroccan mosaics were made so I googled and booked this tour - and it really exceeded our expectations. Abdou communicated with us in advance, making sure we knew exactly where to meet our (lovely) taxi driver. It was a short drive to the factory and Abdou was waiting for us outside. His English is incredible so we enjoyed a really detailled explanation of all the aspects of this Art co-operative. We were able to meet and watch all the different artisans in action. The story of their work, and the talent of these artisans is incredible. There are excellent toilet facilities and a place to buy tea or coffee. There is a show room on-site with a huge variety of products - some incredibly stunning and unique. The work is pricey but there is no pressure to buy - I dare you to resist tho ;)

5.00The experience was very pleasant and interesting from start to finish. Following our TripAdvisor booking, we contacted the organizer on Whatsapp to arrange a visit time and meeting point for transportation. The response was quick and very courteous. The driver arrived on time at the entrance of the closest medina of our hotel, as agreed. There is no additional charge for transportation. Upon arrival, Ahmed welcomed us and offered us a private guided tour. We learned as much about the Art d'Argile cooperative as we did about traditional pottery and mosaic making techniques (Zellige). We were able to see the employees at work in each stage of production and know the skills needed to perform each trade. This visit allowed us to really appreciate the work of the craftsmen. At the end of the tour, a driver took us back to our hotel. The price was well worth it. We also did the workshop (this is a separate offer, see the organizer's TripAdvisor page).

5.00Had a great tour with Ahmed and Abdou of the tile and ceramic factory. The tour included us getting to try our hand at the pottery wheel to create our own bowl, painting a small bowl with an intricate pattern and creating our own mosaic tile. Learned so much and loved every minute!

5.00An exceptional, truly moving experience, seeing master craftsmen and women making intricate ceramics and tilework as practiced in Morocco for centuries. The detailed craft and hours of skilled labor to make tiled objects and pottery will blow your mind. A real treasure! Can't recommend a visit here highly enough, especially with Abdou as your brilliant escort, explaining the deep history of these techniques. Plus you get a chance to try out a potter's wheel!
