Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque
Gazi Husrev-Bey's mosque was build in 1530/31 in Early Istanbul style and it is the central building of Gazy Husrev-bey's waqf (charitable foundation). Dome of the mosque is 23m high and minaret is 45m. The largest historical mosque in B&H and it is the first mosque in the world to be illuminated by electricity.

5.00on the day of departure from Sarajevo we took a 2 hour tour with a guide. the weather was really wintery, the day before it had snowed non-stop, so we got a private tour with the guide Senka who was excellent! since we had our four children with us, she adjusted the walking pace and the story to both us adults and the children. a really well spent 2 hours!
