We would definitely recommend this tour. We joined a small group as soon as we arrived in Stratford Upon Avon and this gave us a brilliant insight into the town and great advice for the remainder of our trip. Jan was very knowledgeable and helpful. On her recommendation we went into the RSC theatre and booked a tour which was brilliant (and jumped at the chance to get last minute tickets to see the Tempest too!) not something on our original itinerary. Thank you for helping to making our trip really memorable.

I was the only person who had booked for that day and I still managed to take the tour: truly professional.. especially since it was raining! John was very kind and all the information he gave me was interesting, like the one about the lamp posts, which I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise. As a huge fan of Shakespeare, I really appreciated the connections between his work and the town he told me about.

I highly recommend this walk. We were led by Owen, who proved to be a superb and highly knowledgeable guide. He knew his stuff, had a good sense of humour, lots of good energy, and, very importantly, we could hear every word he said. We came away knowing lots of new and surprising facts about Shakespeare and his family.

The guide, Owen, is a lovely person, very passionate and kind. The history of the city is deeply linked to its best known citizen, Shakespeare, and this is reflected in the main topic of this tour. It 'was interesting, the tour is not available in Italian, so I would recommend it to those who chew English well ;)

So enjoyable. We came as a couple and we will grace by two guides. They were just the two of us so it essentially felt like a private tour. I love little facts about a town and its connection to Shakespeare. If you're in town for visit and you are Shakespeare fan, you absolutely have to book a walking tour. as someone who likes stories, you are absolutely going to appreciate the stories of the town. The town itself is a wonderful place without the storytelling and the narrativising, you'll be missing out so much of the juice that makes this town. By the way, if you book directly with them rather than on TripAdvisor it's two pounds cheaper.
