Great destination, beautiful animals. The story of the Na'an Kuse is beautiful, really a socially positive enterprise. The tour guide was excellent also. Not far from Windhoek.

Great experience. The shuttle bus was perfect to the sanctuary and picked me up in time. Once we arrived we were shortly onto the transport and started visiting the animals. The guide was very knowledgeable, and seeing the animals was wonderful. The Lions/Cheetahs/Leopard were stunning to pick the best out. A great afternoon.

For me, this is a must visit place when in the Windhoek area. You will see an abundance of wildlife close up, that you may not be able to see as well on the game drives. Let me make it clear, no animals are caged here. Absolutely not. Each species has its own area of the reserve to roam free in - and it is huge. Yes, there are fences but these are to separate the animals where needed. They are also used to give a run off viewing area when feeding. What happens is that you are driven around by the ranger and he stops at cheetahs, wild dogs, lions and caracal cat to feed them fresh meat. Firstly, he goes to a designated area on the boundary fence where the animals know to go. He calls them and you can watch them feed. Secondly, they only get fed a couple of times a week when required, most times they ARE left to hunt on their own. It is humane and nowhere else could you get so close to these animals. You can stand back as far or as close as you choose. I dared to go right up to the fence so I could take photos through the gaps. The ranger left it as my choice but at no time did I feel in danger and it enabled clear, amazing shots. Equally though you could stand at the platform and take photos including the fencing if you wished. Or just watch these beautiful animals in their natural setting. To see a super rare caracal cat was a thrill. I took a great video of it leaping for the meat but beware that they jump really high as I missed it the first time! There were also baboons out drinking that you could see from the pool area plus the ones you were driven to. There is a nice place for food on site that did a good lunch served at the table. Only a very small selection of gifts so not a place if wanting souvenirs. Note that Naankuse is very much involved in conservation programs and helping the native wildlife. I think it unfair if anyone says the set up or tour is cruel. Obviously, just my own opinion but to me all the animals could roam free and it gives us tourists a unique chance to see them. Oh and Josef from Chameleon Tours was lovely too.

The Cameleon Safari driver was wonderful! He was very helpful and showed us a lot of animals on the way to Naanku. He was friendly and answered all questions. Full 10 points for him! However, this trip was made with Naankunen's own people, and the reception at the center was poor. The attitude towards us worsened, especially when we questioned the content of the trip. The tour description did not say that the listed animals are in cages. In addition, we were saddened to hear that the price did not include a ride other than between the animal cages. The price was expensive for the content. There were also pictures of rhinos in the filming, but then we found out that the rhinos are in another park, and we won't be able to see them. The staff told us that if we wanted to see rhinos, the price would double. So on this tour you will only see lions, cheetahs, leopards, lynx, monkeys and savannah dogs and they are all in cages. Left a bad and cheated feeling. I do not recommend doing business with the Naankuse foundation. However, Cameleon Safaris served perfectly. 🩷 They also offer trips for another safari, which is great.

Amazing experience, I was in Namibia for a few days. Therefore, we recommend the tour if you will be a short time. Raimond from the agency took us to the site of the activity, while on the way he told us things about the country. Very friendly and friendly. On the way to the activity we also saw many animals.

Fantastic driver, very nice obliging. The only reservations we had about the farm where I watched the animals through the bars, as in the zoo, it was not allowed to take close-up pictures at the bars, so that this trip is a misunderstanding 2 stars only for a great driver, the rest zero. it's a waste of money and time for this trip, better to look for something more real where the animals can be admired directly
