Souq Waqif
Visit Souq waqif which is the oldest marketplace in Doha. The Souq sells traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs, It is also home to restaurants and Shisha lounges. The original building dates back at least from the 20th Century in a traditional Qatari architectural style.

5.00Had a wonderful tour with Junaid. We saw all the sites of the market area and had a lovely meal too. Junaid is very knowledgeable and really great guide. You should book this tour as is really good. Spefically ask for Junaid and it will be outstanding.

5.00Our tour with Javid was so informative. From beginning to end we learned so much and he had the answer for every question we had. He was also a wonderful photographer using our phone to take picture of us in the picturesque Souq. It was a maze of wonder and Javid knew exactly where to go for each and every treasure. The tour ends with a traditional meal that will leave you full and happy. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00This was one of the best tours we have done through Viator. Javid, our guide was excellent and showed us so many interesting things. He even arranged for us to learn the game of Dama with the locals while drinking Karak tea, yum!! - what an amazing experience! His information and knowledge was so interesting. We were able to sample some street food as well as dine in an authentic local Arabic cafe - delicious!! I would highly recommend this be one of the first tours folks do when they arrive in Doha. There was so much activity at the night market and so many interesting and beautiful things to see. The smells of the food and spices was amazing as well. Again, first rate tour with Javid!! Thank you we will be talking about this for years to come.

5.00I went late in the evening after disembarking a 14 hour flight so all I really wanted to do was eat something authentic and my tour operator came thru. I didn’t see to much but on my way back I plan on going again

5.00This is a not to be missed tour of Doha with Ali. He was flexible and when we had already seen something that was on the plan he quickly pivoted to show us something we had not seen. He is open to any and all questions about Doha, life in Doha and the Muslim religion. Upon our request he arranged for an in-depth visit to a Mosque where we learned so much that we are still talking about it days later. Ali knows the city of Doha and is interested in sharing his knowledge with his clients.
