Explore the west cost of Qatar and take the chance to see the majestic views of the west coast. Zekreet Fort has been dated to the late 18th or early 19th century. The fort's shape is quadrangular with four circular watchtowers to see the unique Umbrella shaped Stone hut nestling on a limestone hill, then go to visit east-west / west-east by Richard Serra sculpture in the desert This breathtaking sculpture in the Broug nature reserve spans over a kilometer and comprises four steel plates, each over fourteen meters in height. To guarantee perfect alignment, Serra examined the topography of the land and beautifully enhanced the vast, desolate space in the heart of the desert. The result is spectacular and although modern, timeless.

We did a beautiful desert Safari me and my friends, the ATV adventure, then we moved to take pictures and around in camel, being led by Hakan with so much kindness, education and being very helpful on the whole route, after dunes bushing there too, very nice and fun. And finally we moved to alrahal camp, a beautiful place too, where we relaxed, enjoyed the beautiful sunset and ate well. I highly recommend it.

Our Qatar West tour with Nasi was an absolute blast! He was super fun, full of energy, spoke perfect English, such a professional photographer and made us laugh while sharing cool facts. We explored the fort ruins of Zekreet, climbed around Mushroom Rock, stood in awe at the Richard Serra sculpture, and saw a camel racing track packed with camels—it felt like a desert safari movie! The drive was super smooth and comfy, and Abdul made sure we had the best time from start to finish. Easily one of the most fun and awesome guides ever!

After a scenic drive, my guide, Rakan, introduced me to some stunning rock formations, many of which he helped me scale. We then made our way to the Richard Serra “East West/West East” installation. While pictures and videos can capture some of the essence, nothing compares to experiencing the art in person. It was truly inspiring! Additionally, Akhtar provided fascinating insights into the artwork that only deepened my appreciation. Later, we visited a picturesque beach by an inland sea before stopping by a camel racing track on our way back to Doha. This was my fifth trip to the city, and today, I gained a much richer understanding of the culture of this beautiful country than I ever expected. It was a wonderful day!

Our driver nasi was outstanding—he was courteous, knowledgeable, and an exceptional host! We had an unforgettable experience watching the sunset while viewing Richard Serra's monumental installation, as well as the natural formations of the eye and the mushroom.
