First off, very easy to book with trip adviser. Got to pick the day we wanted. Only booked it 2 days in advance. Directions and expectations were explained very well. Met our guide Christina exactly when and where it was set to be. We didn't have to pay for parking. Very nice comfortable boat. Water was smooth, and calm. Christina's partner driving was as sweet and friendly as she was. Christins was very informative about the ecosystem, trees, birds, wildlife, marine biology and area. Saw some dolphins along the way close to the boat. Stopping at the island was quite refreshing and just gorgeous. Found a bunch of unique shells, well unique to me. Water was like bath water. Couple things, getting off the boat to go on the island may be difficult for an elderly person, if your footing isn't solid. No snacks or water to buy or was provided. Make sure you bring some. In the heat and being 3 hours long, you will need it. Especially for the kiddos. Someone stays on the boat, so if you need to leave your stuff when shelling, it will be fine. Due to safety concerns, I believe small children are required to sit on the seat, not stand on the seat. But they can stand up and move around on the floor. Seems like a no brainer to me, but thought I would mention it. Also, there is a cute little bar/restaurant right as you get off the boat.

We had a great time! 3 dolphins followed us for a good 10 minutes or more, they we so cute, and Lil Hickory Island was a beautiful spot to go shelling. It was 3 hours which is perfect. Would definitely recommend! The Captain and guide were fantastic 👏

Captain Ty and Ashley were amazing, friendly and informative! We learned about the area’s history and saw a lot of wild life. We had a dolphin show like I have never seen before! We gathered a lot of shells and headed back to the marina and saw a manatee! Wonderful trip!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Josh and First Mate Cristina. We saw dolphins, manatee, sea turtle, and birds. Picked up some shells for our collection we hadn’t yet found. The boat ride was smooth. Complimentary drinks and waters were nice. Cristina was knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Had specimens to show and handle. Overall relaxing and fun!

Amazing experience. We saw dolphins, manatees, 2 hammerhead sharks (one big one), large variety of birds, cow rays, etc. our tour guide Mike was the absolute best. His experience and knowledge of the area made it an awesome experience. The shelling island had lots to choose from and was beautiful. My 9 year old insists I write “it’s called Good time” charters for a reason!
