An afternoon with Mo exploring Dong Hoi’s food culture was one of the most enjoyable experiences of all of our travels. Mo’s knowledge and vibrancy was exceptional a definite must do when visiting this beautiful city.

The bike ride around Dong Hoi and learning about the history of Vietnam and Mo’s hometown was amazing! The cycling around the peaceful city of Dong Hoi was awesome. We got to see the a few monuments and Mo introduced us to a couple of locals that she translated their history. She speaks perfect English and was more than happy to answer all our buzzing questions about the history of the city and of Vietnam. She is highly knowledgeable and proud of her hometown that makes me want to visit again! The bike ride around the city was only slightly difficult but Mo kept her eye on us to make sure we were safe. Be sure to try this tour on an empty stomach, Mo will feed you PLENTY! Thank you Mo!

This was an absolutely fantastic day out. We got to try loads of different foods and were able to see so much more on bikes than if we’d been on foot. The whole activity from start to finish was fabulous.

Mo has planned this tour to show you her home town, her favorite places and introduce you to the unique local food. She is informative and exuberant and makes sure you enjoy yourself. The trip to her friend’s fisherman hut was a highlight as we shared snails, clams, and beers with the fishermen along the river. Mo owns her company. She has worked in travel for many years and can recommend other things to do in Central Vietnam. If you find yourself in Dong Hoi, this a great use of your time.

What a wonderful tour that Mo provided us. The cycling was lovely. The food was extraordinary good. She knows her stuff and was a great guide giving us an insight into the region and Dong Hoi itself. Different restaurants, market visits and ride around the citadel. Cannot recommend more highly. Do yourself a turn and do this if you have the time!

We did the bike tour with three friends all over sixty and found it easy and accessible . The bikes were simple but functioned well. Mo is a very nice person who shared her knowledge with great enthusiasm. She showed us the production of Tet cakes and other specialties in authentic places in homes of inhabitants and took us around the market where she informed us about fruit, flowers, vegetables and fish, specific for the region with good knowledge and interaction with the local sellers and farmers. We had en very nice day full of little surprises, color and tasting Maryse Belgium

We really enjoyed our afternoon cycling with Mo. We cycled around the town and sampled various Vietnamese specialties. She showed us how the special Tet cakes are made in the house of a local inhabitant. We went round the very interesting flower and food market and ended the afternoon with a nice hot drink. Mo is a lovely and lively guide with excellent English. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic day cycling around Dong Hoi with Mo visiting various Vietnamese eateries and the markets where she introduced us to a range of traditonal cuisine. We alao visited a fisherman's hut and learnt about how this 100 year old practice is done. Highly recommended!

10/10! We wanted to explore Dong Hoi but didn’t know where to start. Mo’s tour was the perfect way to see the city and try all the foods we NEVER would have found on our own! From a true street cart to making our own dumplings, to the local fish market and then to her friend’s fishing cabin where they made us dinner from their catch that day, we couldn’t have had a better time! While the market isn’t for the sensitive traveler, if you’re looking at this excursion then chances are you’re adventurous and ready to take on a truly local experience. Mo herself grew up here and is so knowledgeable about the history and culture of not only Vietnam but of Dong Hoi specifically. She was a great guide and showed us the best time. We were really glad we took some time away from the caves to go on this tour!
