What To Expect
At Defiance Rafting, we expect our guides and their passengers to display perfect paddling form when rafting through the Class III Shoshone Rapids. When they do, which is mostly all the time, we reward their excellence by letting them raft it again. When they don't, we punish them by making them redo it, which, oddly enough, they never seem too upset about. A limited participant trip, this small-batch experience is ideal for thrill seekers, those with prior experience, families with teenagers, and those seeking as much whitewater as possible.

5.00Jeremy is the best!! Loved our trip down the Colorado river!! He made my 12 yrs old daughter so confident running down the Shoshone twice. She loved it and wants to do it again!! We stopped by the hot springs for a few minutes towards the end of the trip. Great crew running the operation! Everybody was so friendly! I would recommend a thousand times!!

5.00What a great time on the water! We did a full day with lunch and loved every minute. The entire tam at Defiance was great but special shout-out to our guide, Rob. Ask for him by name if you want to smash some waves!

5.00Perfect from start to finish!!! Family of 4 (beginner rafters) with 2 teen sons. We had a blast! Jeremy our tour guide was fantastic. I would highly recommend- lots of fun with a little thrills even for 1st timers.

Look no further, this is the perfect time of the year for you to go. Once you go White Water - you will never go back. The time on the water is ideal. The guides are top notch; we’ve been with both Mike & Taylor.
