In Fernandina there is so many beautiful houses that are overlooked because people do not know the stories that go along with the homes. On our tour we will talk about a handful of the people that lived in these homes that will help to paint a story that goes along with these homes. Also, we discuss why pirates were so attracted to our island during the piracy golden age. There is so much history to discuss you will feel lie you are traveling through time as you walk our historical streets as you listen to your tour guide.

What To Expect
In Fernandina the history can be a little unlike any other history in America. We pride ourselves in having eight separate flags that flew over our island in a short period of 300 years. Many king of the mountain types came here in hopes of conquering our island. The question is why would so many different people groups choose Fernandina over other parts of North America? In our tour we will discuss all of these mysteries along with exploring the streets and homes that were built just prior to and after the Civil War.

5.00Started our cruise with American cruise lines here .enjoyed walking the town. The Trolley was an educational experience. Ate multiple meals at The Salty Pelican. All meals were great. Tried the Gator bites 3 times, so yes I enjoyed them.

5.00The walking tour of Fernandina was great! Our guide, Tim, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We walked through peaceful areas of the town and saw prominent historical homes and learned about their significance to Amelia Island.

5.00We visit so many Florida small towns, non are like Fernandina Beach Florida. So many are disappointing. Fernandina is a great town on Beautiful Amelia Island Florida. The best restaurants in North Florida too! Nicest locals and great weather.

5.00We have been to Fernandina Beach many times and admired the town and historic homes, but the opportunity to know some of the history behind the town helps to understand the importance of certain buildings and houses as well as the military and pirate activity in the area. All very interesting, the tour is well worth it.
