You’ll hear about the phantom bellboy at the Monte Vista Hotel, how John Weatherford came to Flagstaff to build his fortune, and the dark history of Wheeler Park that most Flagstaff residents don’t know. And then there’s the Marie Walkup case. We won’t spoil it here, but it’s the story that made Susan write a whole book.

Your tour will begin between Flagstaff City Hall and Wheeler Park. You'll hear about the history of Flagstaff and get in the mood for some spooky stories.
This historic theatre is now a local hot spot for music and arts. But what was it before? Chickens aren't the only inhabitants of this local arts venue.

5.00Our family (two adults, two teens) had a great time on the downtown Flagstone haunted history tour with Mike on a spooky, drizzly Friday the 13th. Mike entertained us and educated us from the start. The kids and adults all loved learning a little about the history of Flagstaff and of course a bit of its tragic and haunted past as well. We highly recommend the tour. (Some stories might be a little too gruesome for young kids.)

5.00I had so much fun! I have lived in Flagstaff for about 5 years now and have never dove into the history of the city. I enjoyed getting to explore downtown and hear more in depth stories of tidbits I had heard around. Our guide was incredible knowledgable and answered all of our questions. I had always wanted to try the tour and I am so glad I did, I recommended it to visitors and locals!

5.00Awesome tour with Freaky Foot Tours in Flagstaff! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and everyone could hear him clearly even with downtown bustling around us. He made safety a priority throughout the tour, and you could genuinely tell how much he enjoyed his job. I also learned a lot about some personal family history — much darker than I could have imagined. The tour was a great value, the perfect length, and an easy walk, making it enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable experience!
