The Heritage Safari invites you to experience the rich traditions of Bedouin life, from falconry and Arabic coffee making to traditional performances and henna. Journey through the desert in iconic 1950s vintage Land Rovers, and learn about native wildlife and plant life with your expert Conservation Guide. This safari breaks away from standard expectations of a desert safari, offering a sustainable and culturally accurate representation of the U.A.E.

Pick-up from Dubai hotels in an air-conditioned vehicle between 02:00 PM and 04:30 PM, depending on the season. We will inform you of the exact pick-up time around noon on the day of your desert experience.

Fabulous trip today with Duncan, our very professional Guide. He had a great sense of humour, extremely knowledgeable and informative from pick up to drop off from our hotel on the Palm. Duncan arrived at our hotel on time, he explained each step of the day clearly and concisely. It was an hour or so to the desert from Dubai. On arrival we were given metal water bottles, water and headscarves to keep. Duncan helped us to put on the scarves; took photos of us - there were photographers all through the day too. Duncan also drove our vintage Land Rover, through the desert conservancy, stopping each time we spotted the animals and birds - Duncan giving facts about each animal and bird. We stopped, got out of the vehicle, at a view point for photos. A drone followed and recorded us for a short time as we continued on our tour. We then headed to the falconry display which was again very informative and we were able to have photos with the falcon whilst the sun set - really beautiful. From there we arrived at the Bedouin camp/village for refreshments, camel rides, henna tattoos, delicious 4 course meal, interactive entertainment and an added bonus for everyone of star gazing with Duncan. The whole event ran so smoothly and professionally. A special afternoon and evening of wonderful memories made - I would definitely highly recommend. Well done Platinum Heritage Team and thank you.

Thoroughly enjoyed this fantastic trip. Although costing more than other desert safaris Platinum Heritage concentrate on conservation and education rather than just dune bashing. The vintage Landrovers were fun to ride in and our guide Nikki looked after our group and was a mine of information throughout. The Bedouin camp was welcoming and comfortable and the four course dinner absolutely delicious! We even had the opportunity to do some star gazing.

Our safari in Dubai was a real highlight. The group was pleasantly small and clear, so we were always well looked after. We received a lot of exciting information, and our guide Asim was not only extremely friendly, but also excellently informed. In English, he explains everything clearly and vividly and attentively responds to the wishes of the participants. The hotel pickup and return transfer went completely smoothly. The food was delicious and traditional. The whole safari seemed harmonious and not too touristy, which made the experience particularly enjoyable. An experience that we remember best and that we would do again at any time. Worth every penny.

Not like a traditional desert safari, this one focus more in the anciente life style for beduins ( local people) great service, show of falconery very enjoyable, good souvenirs and after dinner show!!

Our Platinum Heritage Safari with Bashir was incredible! From the start, he made us feel like family — so kind, respectful, and genuinely caring. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the day. Bashir shared fascinating stories about Emirati culture and desert life, and his passion really brought the experience to life. The vintage Land Rover ride, desert sunset, and traditional dinner were all unforgettable. Couldn’t recommend this safari — and Bashir — more highly!
