The Heritage Safari invites you to experience the rich traditions of Bedouin life, from falconry and Arabic coffee making to traditional performances and henna. Journey through the desert in iconic 1950s vintage Land Rovers, and learn about native wildlife and plant life with your expert Conservation Guide. This safari breaks away from standard expectations of a desert safari, offering a sustainable and culturally accurate representation of the U.A.E.

Pick-up from Dubai hotels in an air-conditioned vehicle between 02:00 PM and 04:30 PM, depending on the season. We will inform you of the exact pick-up time around noon on the day of your desert experience.

Choosing a desert safari was tough with so many options available but I ultimately decided on Platinum Heritage, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The tour was arranged through our hotel. Our driver and host, Saif was punctual for the afternoon pickup, personable and highly knowledgeable during the drive to the desert, sharing interesting insights along the way. Upon arrival, we were given reusable water bottles and headscarves before the windy vintage Land Rover safari ride. We spotted a couple of native animals in their natural habitat and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the dunes. Enjoyed the falcon experience where we were served hot cinnamon tea and date juice and had the chance to take photos with the falcon. We were then brought to a Bedouin-style camp offering camel rides, an Arabic coffee station and a henna station. Dinner was incredibly generous, almost like having three buffets in one with a wide selection of dishes including traditional Emirati specialties such as camel meat and camel milk. The evening ended with stargazing accompanied by explanations and entertainment before returning to the hotel. A luxurious desert safari experience that I would recommend and come very hungry.

This desert Safari was AMAZING!! Ramadan is a stellar guide, host, and driver! He was so thorough and fun. We learned a lot from him and enjoyed his professionalism and energy. The whole experience is absolutely incredible! The falcon and the falconer were fascinating and impressive! The camels are so cute, friendly, and they are cool with you snuggling them. The food is in ample supply, authentic, and delicious (vegetarian options available). The Land Rover ride was delightful. Every minute was worth savoring. 5 stars!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The heritage desert safari in the vintage Land Rover was unforgettable, and dinner was beautifully done. Our guide, Normand, was fantastic, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely made the experience special. He kept everything running smoothly and created such a great atmosphere for the group. We also lucked out with an amazing group, which made the whole experience even more fun and memorable. Everything was well organized and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this tour and especially Normand as a guide!
