The Heritage Safari invites you to experience the rich traditions of Bedouin life, from falconry and Arabic coffee making to traditional performances and henna. Journey through the desert in iconic 1950s vintage Land Rovers, and learn about native wildlife and plant life with your expert Conservation Guide. This safari breaks away from standard expectations of a desert safari, offering a sustainable and culturally accurate representation of the U.A.E.

What To Expect
Dubai
Pick-up from Dubai hotels in an air-conditioned vehicle between 02:00 PM and 04:30 PM, depending on the season. We will inform you of the exact pick-up time around noon on the day of your desert experience.
Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve
Arrive at the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve and receive your Headscarf and a Stainless Steel Water Bottle. These are included in each booking and are a gift for our guests to take home.

5.00This was unanimously the favourite highlight of our family trip to Dubai. From riding the vintage vehicle, to watching the gazelles and oryx run in their habitat, to watching the falconry and to having a short camel ride before dinner (which was scrumptious), we felt that we were given an experience that was different and authentic from everything else we did. The guides were amazing and we enjoyed the hospitality greatly. Highly recommend this excursion for others visiting the UAE.

5.00Our Heritage Desert Safari with Platinum Heritage exceeded all expectations and was truly one of the highlights of our time in Dubai. From start to finish, the experience felt incredibly thoughtful and well curated. It was absolutely not a one-size-fits-all safari — our kids were so well considered at every step and enjoyed the day just as much as the adults, which is no small feat. There were so many experiences included, each flowing seamlessly into the next, giving us an authentic exposure to traditional Emirati ways of life. We especially appreciated Platinum Heritage’s strong focus on conservation and sustainability — it added real meaning to the experience and made us feel good about supporting a company that truly respects the desert and its wildlife. The food was delicious and beautifully presented - one of the most authentic meals we had during our trip. A very special mention must go to our safari host, Maher, who was nothing less than exceptional. He was incredibly considerate of our young children, helping them embrace every experience with confidence and excitement. When the kids asked him to join in, he did so wholeheartedly, and he even tailored small parts of the safari to make sure they were having the absolute best time. His warmth, patience, and genuine care made the day unforgettable for all of us. By the end of the day, our kids declared it the “best day ever” - and as adults, we couldn’t agree more. If you are considering a desert safari in Dubai, this should be your only choice. And if you can, definitely ask for Maher to be your host — he truly made an incredible experience extraordinary. 5.00One of the best experiences we had in Dubai. This was a truly classy and authentic desert safari. Our tour guide, Samuel, was absolutely outstanding—from pickup to drop-off, he went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. He explained everything clearly and took great care of us throughout the journey. The food was exceptional, with a delicious four-course meal. The stargazing session was incredibly special, and the falcon show was fantastic. Every part of the experience felt well thought out and authentic. A special thank you to the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience. Samuel was truly the highlight—we had lovely conversations throughout the journey. We also enjoyed meeting two wonderful fellow travellers from Russia who shared the experience with us. Would absolutely love to do this again!

4.00Pros - Vintage land rover, tour guide and falcon show. Cons - Felt crowded, as I was expecting much more intimate experience given double the cost compared to other safaris. Food was plentiful but not exceptional or memorable. Would i recommend the tour - No given the high cost and not having an intimate experience. Rather pay less and do a mass tourism one.

5.00It was such a lovely experience. These guys are very well organized. Our tour guide, Ravi, was a highlight of the whole experience: attentive, capable, respectful and friendly. Give this man a medal. Totally recommended adventure. Btw, the photos they took of us were great.
