As one of the many tour location options packed into this tour of Dublin, Liberty Irish Tours and The Dublin City U2 Experience Tour are proud to partner with the "U2 : Made in Dublin" exhibition in the wonderful Little Museum of Dublin which charts the story of the band over the last 40 years. The exhibition was created by fans of the band along with some of Ireland’s best photographers and artists, as a tribute to U2 and a celebration of their roots in the local music scene of the 1970s.A soundtrack narrated by Tom Dunne tells the story of the band with rare live recordings from the Dandelion Market all the way through to Croke Park. The exhibition is hugely popular with fans of Ireland’s most famous musical export. Among the curators of the show is Professor Scott Calhoun, director of the U2 Conference and editor of Exploring U2.

Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin Ireland have been capturing music history since 1978. The list of artists the studios have worked with includes U2, Kate Bush, The Cranberries, The Rolling Stones, Hozier, Lady Gaga & Westlife. The Visitor Experience tour is an unprecedented opportunity to step beyond the studios famous metal doors and receive an exclusive, immersive and highly memorable experience. Please note, Windmill Lane Recording Studios is a working recording studio so advanced booking is essential for us to let you know if it can be included in the full tour on specific days.In addition, tour visitors will receive an historical summary of the Ringsend area – from the times of Oliver Cromwell to the 1916 Easter Rising and will outline the buildings involvement in the old Dublin tramlines to its present status.
